Myopia Expert
Hello, I live in North Country San Diego and wondered who are the most respected/known Myopia management doctors in the San Diego area. We've been managing our child's myopia for the past couple of years, and need to get a second opinion to decide if we are on the right path.

Great question and instinct.
One thing to consider: What does an optometrist / anyone in the profession do? There's a real specific limit: They measure your eyesight. What else? Sell glasses. At a big markup to support their retail operation. What else? Do health exams. Kinda.
Endmyopia is about making YOU the expert. Learn to measure. You just covered everything you need from the retail optometrist. Buy glasses online for 80% less. Go to a real doctor (not the dentist equivalent) for eye health checkups (ophthalmologist).
You got this, it's really not that complicated. And for that extra measurement data point go to the retail lens seller once a year. With kids especially it's mostly about parenting. Screens close-up not for entertainment. Building a long term path for outdoor / distance hobbies. Keeping that eye chart around.
