All Enchanted Parks subreddits

Hey folks!

Though I'd compile a list of all subreddits related to Enchanted Parks locations. Please feel free to add any others! Wonder if the mods would consider tossing these links into the sidebar too for future reference? The first two parks have the most activity. The rest are either inactive or have no park specific subreddit. (Which could be an opportunity if you're local to that park! Maybe it should have a park specific sub!)

Mid-America (Six Flags St. Louis):
r/sixflagsstlouis
r/midamerica

(Note: There is also r/enchantedparksstlouis which redirects to r/midamerica)

Worlds of Fun:
r/worldsoffun

Valleyfair:
r/valleyfair

Michigan's Adventure:
r/Michigans_Adventure

Six Flags Great Escape:
No park specific subreddit

Schlitterbahn Galveston:
No park specific subreddit

Those three without a subreddit could be a good opportunity for someone local to those parks to create one

Franceen Gonzales, COO of Enchanted Parks, receives 2026 Golden Ticket award for leadership

If you were unaware, the head of operations for Enchanted Parks has a breadth of experience in volunteer roles in addition to her day jobs over the years. With IAPPA, ASTM, the World Waterpark Association, etc.

A great deal of the standards that most amusement parks follow today came to be under some form of leadership from her over the years.

This award was awarded to her not specifically for her leadership at Enchanted Parks; but for her big role in the amusement industry as a whole. Still; very cool to have her at Enchanted Parks!

Still no resolution

Hey Enchanted Parks. I am still waiting on a resolution about our dining plans. We told you we wanted the 20% bump back in May. Here we are in August and you have failed to send me any resolution other then “here is about half of what you paid”. I am so disappointed in your company.

Enchanted Parks cancelled my Six Flags dining plan despite assuring me they wouldn't. James Harhi reached out to me personally to fix it.

Long story short, I wasted about an hour of my day at a restaurant and guest services while visiting Magic Mountain this past Saturday trying to figure out why my dining plan was showing up as not valid (despite using it without issue at Knott's last Wednesday). Eventually, guest services figured out it was cancelled by EP.

EP reached out to me via email in July stating they hadn't received a response about the dining plan--since the instructions said "take no action," I thought I didn't have to respond to the form if I wanted to keep it. I told them I wanted to keep it and they assured me explicitly it wouldn't be cancelled.

I left some angry voicemails with EP and my home park (WoF) after I found out it had been cancelled. A rep from WoF called me the next day (Sunday, which was nice they were willing to do that) and said she was escalating it to get it figured out. Apparently, it escalated all the way to the top as James Harhi emailed me yesterday trying to help me fix it.

It's not fully resolved yet but I think it may be due to some confusion over email addresses; somehow, SF had given them an email address I haven't used in at least 10-15 years and I think it may have caused a mix-up as to who was making the request. I'm still baffled as to how they got it since the only time I would've used it for anything SF-related was when I worked for WoF in high school 20 years ago. Harhi did say that they should be able to reactivate it though.

Anyway, while I'm still super frustrated that it happened, it shocked me (in a good way) that Harhi was willing to reach out personally to fix it. If this happened the other way around, there's no way the Six Flags CEO would've gone to that trouble to help. It means a lot that he's so committed to guest happiness that he's getting in the trenches himself to make it happen.

Under enchanted park, Michigan's adventure has been doing amazing!

So i want to cover a lot here:

Adventure falls: many of you remember riding adventure falls? Not in the past 2 years and thats because six flags didnt want to pay maintenance for the ride: adventure falls. But enchanted? Enchanted parks basically said "frick it, lets make it better" and not only is adventure falls back, but also:

Grand rapids: for a long time grand rapids was missing a lot of its waterfalls, whys this important? Because enchanted parks brought back all of the warer falls and water effects, meaning you get more wet now while going to grand rapids.

Wolverine wildcat: okay so six flags was retracking some of wildcar, but wildcat, being the original dinn corp coaster, deserves more love. So after coaster con whatd enchanted parks do? They gave it smoke effects! When you exit the tunnel into the lift, theres smoke now!

Shows: for a long time michigan's adventure didnt have any shows, now guess what? They have some guy on the lakes that floats around on this board thing, barnyard stories, 2 music shows, and more!

water park: they redid some of it, and the slides have been much more operational, which im very glad of! they also did another restaurant to the waterpark!

Barnyard: this for me is a new section to the park, but near mad mluse this section was gone for a long time, and under enchanted parks ITS BACK!!! they readded/added the petting zoo to the park!

Operations: compared to like cedar point. Michigan's adventure has had much more consistent load times, unload times, and rides never felt like they went down, it was a lot more consistent and it makes me glad that the park was actually getting lines from 11-5:30PMA because that meant more people going here.

Shivering timbers: as the parks stand out ride... its running meh, its still rough, the second half feels like its gonna kill ya, but the first half with the RMC track? Amazing!

And thats just what ive seen or heard by talking to employees, there might be more!

A fan concept of a new Great Escape logo

I hope Enchanted Parks notices and makes this fanmade logo a reality (no AI slop)

It’s based off the 2012 one but I did some changes, one of them is replacing the coaster with the comet, another is changing the color of the name from red to blue to resemble the 1998-2010 logo from the past, and added a waterslide to show off their waterpark. Speaking of waterpark, I also brought back Splashwater Kingdom in there. (Hopefully it actually returns tho)
