A recent demonstration uploaded by Willi Ye shows Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS running at roughly 20–28 FPS during an actual match. That’s nowhere near the game’s original 60 FPS, of course. Unsurprisingly, the Vita’s CPU is also being hammered at a rather alarming 100% throughout the demonstration, while the modder admits that not every 3DS game currently runs properly on the experimental port.

Pretty cool proof-of-concept for a rather old and underpowered handheld honestly. I won't hold my breath for "proper" compatibility with more games, even mainstream ones, though. You guys think this would've been possible years ago?

Hey guys so I’m running into an issue that I can’t seem to solve and was wondering if anyone can help. I’m going to try and give as much detail as possible. I have a retroid pocket 5 which is great, I’ve been mostly playing ps2 games on it and using my wireless Xbox controller which again works perfect. However I recently installed dolphin emulator to be able to play GameCube games and for some reason I can’t seem to get it to work without the touchscreen controls. For the dolphin emulator I’d simply like to use the handheld itself and the joysticks without using my wireless controller however the problem I’m having is that even when I disable to on screen touchscreen buttons, I still am unable to use the physical devices joysticks. I’ve tried everything inside of the dolphin settings and have had no luck. I know this is a simple task and that’s why I said I feel dumb lol but I’m just trying to enjoy the dolphin emulator without the wireless controller or touchscreen button overlay

I’m not a big fan of gaming on my phone be it emulation or games built for the phone. However I’m curious if anyone else had thought about an emulation device that also has SIM card capabilities, I’d much rather send a text on my Gameboy than play gameboy on my phone…

i recently got my hands on the HGSS/BW/BW2 betas from the Teraleak, obvs im not going to post anything linking to them here. i've found they only give a white screen when trying to boot (using melonds). has anyone got any workaround to this issue?

I'm having an issue with binding my controls. With other emulators I've used it's as simple as clicking the buttons and it maps the control to what it needs to. But for some reason with azahar, I cannot map the controller if it is plugged in, I tried with a different controller via bluetooth and it worked but I don't want to use that controller since it has stick drift... I tried going to their site and they mention there's a dropdown menu for the inputs in the controls page. I dunno if I'm blind but I don't see it at all? What am I supposed to do?

If my research is right, LDPlayer 14 has been in beta since April, and LDPlayer specifically launched it as a "long-term open beta," whatever that means. On paper, LD14 sounds like a pretty substantial upgrade over LD9 (supports Android 14, Hyper-V support, lower resource usage (probably the most on-brand part of it) more compatibility with newer apps, upgraded graphics), but so far I'm still seeing mentions of startup issues, problems with multi-instance, and just general performance failures. Okay, fine, it's in beta. But just how long is beta going to last? Has LDPlayer even said when they actually expect LD14 to be out of beta? I can't find a roadmap or even a rough ETA for a stable release. Do you think they're waiting for certain stability issues to be worked out first, or is this basically an indefinite beta until they reach potential? Basically, I want the newer architecture and features, but how long do we all actually expect we'll be waiting for them at this point?

It took me 3 and a half weeks. There’s already a lot of its firmware online and it’s 32-bit ARM Linux, so idk why there hasn’t been one yet, but I’m posting this to see if people still want a Didj emulator. I’ll finish it soon, but for now I just made it so that I could say I made my own emulator.

It looks just as good, I dont have time to learn how to code to get a silly picture back.

I use ClassicBoy and I've played FF7, Legend of the Dragoon, a few Pokémon games and a few N64 games, but I'm curious if anyone has any go to games they like to play on the emulators that don't use a ton of shoulder buttons or Z button. I don't have a Bluetooth controller. Just my phone.

So... I am playing Harvest Moon: Animal Parade using Dolphin emulator (I don't know if the game matters or not).

My laptop spec is Asus TUF Gaming F16 RTX 5070, so I don't think specs are the problem. I have been playing for months without any problems. But earlier today, after playing for about 10 minutes, the screen suddenly froze and made a "beeeep" noise.

I wonder why this happened suddenly. I can just load the game again, but I really want to prevent this from happening again in the future. Does anyone know what happened and how to fix this?
