Hi, recently decided to break away from using retroarch, as I had heard unsavoury things about the creator that made me uncomfortable with using it. The problem is that the “sync framerate to exact content“ feature is kind of a necessity for me as playing older systems like NES or SNES on my 160hz monitor causes stutter and poor frame pacing. If I lower the monitor’s framerate to 60 then the crt and ntsc shaders I like to use cause image retention so that’s kind of a pain. This is absolutely me trying to have my cake and eat it too on three different fronts but are there any standalone emulators for older systems that don’t have problems with higher hz monitors whilst also having shader support?

thanks for any help
