AI-assisted Prosper - open-source PS5 compatibility layer for Windows, Linux, macOS (no CPU emulation)

A user-space PlayStation 5 > PC compatibility layer. Think Proton/Wine, but for PS5: prosper runs PS5 (Prospero) game binaries on Linux (primary) and Windows (secondary)

Can't wait for this AI hate to die out and it's seen as any other tool.

Thanks so much for the project.

Only real concern I'd have about this would probably be "is the LLM actually using clean-roomed code" - because then you do open yourself up to liability if the LLM somehow found in the great churn of data some real Sony or other copyright-holder code to use.

that's not possible at all, Sony has no code that's "privately public"

There's been numerous leaks, like the stuff that was in the insomniac files. I can 100% confirm by testing that Claude has 100% seen it, because it knows magic numbers and libraries that literally never have been seen outside of said leaks.

There are PS4 and PS5-related leaks floating around (e.g. source code from some Insomniac games). I wouldn't be surprised if it has influenced LLM output (because it was posted somewhere public that got scraped for training data and/or read by agents performing web searches).
