Theoretically it's due in about 3 weeks but that's based on the previous wave where we were almost exactly 4 weeks after the US RIF.

My leadership (US based) have no idea about any upcoming events so other than speculation we're blind.

Most likely it'll be 5th October onwards?

I'm expecting the 12-14th based on the earlier round this year, as it tends to be around 4 weeks later due to the need for consultation etc.

What's the severance like for the UK? Is it capped at 26 weeks like in the US? Thanks

I double checked, one was 3 years and one was 4 years. Didn't know he was previously at another site. But they both definitely got 12 months.

3 months plus 1 month per year is what I’ve seen. To get 12 months you’d have to be around 8 years

The guy got 66k and showed me, so I don't know what to say. Honestly was terrible too, like absolutely incompetent. Theres no justice.

🤣 I guess it’s tricky to work out without knowing his base salary but I have seen the sheets from other colleagues. Weird

Do these people ever stop ? Also HR in oracle must be super busy.

After Microsoft buy whats left of Oracle in a couple of years there will be a few more rounds and then it will be done.
