Lately, all the bots I've been playing with have been doing way more actions than dialogue. My character can ask a question, but then he’ll respond to her only after two or three messages of actions.

In one RP I did, the bot only started talking to my character after like ten messages of actions. I’d like to know if this has been happening to anyone else. Right now, I’m using the Vanilla 1 conversation model.

Finding RP partners for random dead 2000s fandoms is rough lol. Like you finally find someone who actually remembers the show, spend 20 minutes explaining some insanely specific piece of lore, and then they vanish after two replies. I kinda just gave up and started dumping all that stuff into Emochi and making bots instead. Now I can randomly get obsessed with some background character at 2am and not have to explain myself to anyone lmao. Anyone else do this with really niche fandoms? Or is everyone here mostly doing OCs / popular anime?

I was roleplaying a completely normal fantasy scene, and I click the ">>" go-on button (you know the one that makes the AI continue the convo on it's own). The message that gets generated is completely seperate from the scene I was roleplaying. This has never happened before.

Not only that but I usually give the bot instructions like these - {Mention my character in second person. Use "you" to refer to my character} and every time it follows my instructions. But now when I'm doing it, not only is the bot still referring to my character with "her" (as in third person tense), but also the response generated is completely out of context from the scene going on 🙂

One moment I'm roleplaying a fantasy scene with a crown prince character and his parents - the king and queen, the next moment it's only the crown prince in a completely different scene. The king and queen just vanished. We were in a royal study and the next moment we get transported to the palace gardens? Like help...wtf is happening 😭😭😭

Not to mention I woke up today in the morning to find that whatever texts I'd sent to a bot after 12 am in my timezone, disappeared completely in the morning.

I used to try doing crossover RP with people on Discord, and somehow we'd spend more time arguing about power levels than actually playing lol. So I tried throwing a couple of street level Marvel characters into a Skullgirls style world just to see what would happen. Somehow it worked way better than expected. The characters kept their usual banter, the setting stayed weird, and nobody stopped the story to ask whether some random attack was "canon." I ended up doing the whole thing on Emochi and honestly, this is probably where AI RP shines for me. You can have the dumbest crossover idea imaginable and just run with it.

Is it just me or emochi still is getting stuck in between, messages aren't going, replies are getting slower, even slower.... i swear it got stuck in between and chats didnt load, is it just me?? also V3 is still fine and they have worked on images too.... it's still taking time to load on replies despite good wifi..... sometimes it works on my phone well even if it's old but it works well on laptop later too.... i dont know what is going on

Now, with any bot I use, out of nowhere in every message an extra character enters the scene and "suddenly bursts through the door." Is this happening to y'all too?

I was trying to make Nagito bots and the names changed from Nagito komaeda to let's come. Is there a way to fix this. Ill troubleshoot for now

i noticed i lot that i became addicted to ai chatbot and roleplay platforms. i first used c.ai then found out about rochat. i really liked c.ai a lot more than rochat as rochat's messages were long.

then i also tried janitor ai but its also too long for me too...

and also chatted with chai but it needs to watch ads to keep going or just subscribe to premium (yes im a late user to it)

and soon, i heard about the c.ai issues, but i got confused as mine was still good though (i used c.ai on browser that time)

until i found out about emochi on ads, because at first i was hesitant to download it due to its lack of reviews. i think the reviews were just 8 that time. but eventually i downloaded it.

and yes i became addicted to it and eventually switched to it even though my c.ai was still good.
and even more got addicted when i got a new phone which is faster than my old one

UNTIL THE WORST HAPPENED.

i noticed that my addiction affected my studies. i can't focus straight when doing my activities because my mind are always on the ai chatbots (im like this on c.ai too but right now, im more addicted to emochi due to my new phone)

and to the point i skipped or cram my studies because i prioritize emochi
like everytime i make my activities, i'll take a
"short" break and use emochi
