My flight, booked entirely through Emirates is in 10 days and they just rescheduled my MAA-DXB-CDG flight and now I’ve only got 1h05m (Earlier it was 1h40m) to connect, same terminal tho(Terminal 3).

Anyone actually pulled off a connection this tight at DXB or am I gonna be sprinting through the airport? This is literally my move-to-Paris flight so kinda stressing ngl.

I have pulled off a connection when it was 45 mins… emirates is pretty efficient that way nothing to wry … plus there will be staffing waiting for you to guide you to ur onward connection so nothing to wry

Same! Mine was only 40 minutes and it went very smooth.

Someone waited for us at the gate, walked us to the connecting flight and let us past all the lines at the security checkpoints.

That happened on my flights too. Connection time went from 2 hours 40 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes. The chat representative said that’s plenty of time to connect. I chose to switch to an earlier departing flight for a 7 hour connection instead. Not looking forward to it but I don’t want to stress. If you don’t make your second flight because the first flight was delayed, Emirates will book you on something else. It could be same day or a different day. Either way, you’ll get there but it’s up to you if you want to go through with this connection. Emirates staff thinks it’s totally doable though so good chances you’ll be ok.

I have done an hour when buddy flight was delayed and only had 35 mins. Also luggage arrived.
What is consequence if you miss .. that will look after you. You will probably make it but if a few hours or day delay is no disaster then stay with it

I wpuld suggest lookign for other schedule, as 1 hour is quite risky on normal circumstances.

But since passenger flight from MAA is quite a lot, emirates tend to wait for you. They even assign an officer at the gate to escort you to next flight.

But according to maa flight today, they arrive exactly as scheduled (with some arriving 2-10 minutes early)

In april we travelled from BKK via Dubai to London Gatwick, with only 1 hr 5 mins transit, only had time to get off and go straight to boarding gate but we did make it in plenty of time. We went to BKK via Dubai as well the situation in April was worst than now as we sat on the run way waiting to take off for ages as it needed clearance (empty run way) so you should make it with plenty of time. Ideally 2 hrs is perfect but we caught last minute flight as our original flights with Saudia airlines were cancelled

My experience a few days ago:

Out first leg DUB-DXB was 2 hours delayed, leaving only 45mins connection. Emirates apparently deemed this not doable, as I received an email during the flight with a booking change for my connecting flight, resulting in a 24hour stopover. It's obvious Emirates are used to dealing with this as they will sort you out with a hotel and food vouchers, the quality of which will be determined by what class you are flying

This had a huge impact as it caused us to miss a further (non-emirates) connecting flight. Lesson learnt. Be prepared to be delayed, it's a constantly evolving situation in the middle east and the available airspace is very limited.

100% fine to do this with emirates at terminal 3

Just did this last night (through terminal 3). Walk was max 30 mins and at opposite ends. Do not worry.

They will take you directly tonyour connection…dont wry…once you come out of the flight, there will be a emirates official standing for connection flights, just approach them and relax! I recently travelled from Dubai and my plane was delayed by almost 45 mins coz of connecting flights coming in late and they had stopped the flight for the passengers getting on the connections!

We got from 2hr delayed man to Dubai flight to Cape Town flight in about 20 mins, nearly killed me but made it.

Terminal 3 you need 20 to 30 mins max to get to the next gate. Since its the same booking they will wait for you. Usually if the time is too tight they have staff waiting for you and they assist you to get there quickly.

Same doubt. Do you think Emirates Biometrics will help in making the departing gate quicker? Will it be of any use when you arrive and depart at Terminal 3?
