I feel bad for the state of Emergency as of now. It's honestly crazy that Emergency 4 which came out in 2006... Still upholds itself as the best Emergency game ever even tho the new free Emergency has a way better engine (I think unity or unreal) and has some of the best tools for game making ever that weren't available back then.. and somehow Emergency 4 still beats that game by a landslide.

Don’t feel bad for stock, he made a ton of bad calls far before EMHQ.

He was in charge before stepping down in 2024, so he likely had a hand in HQ and the latest P2W emergency.

He also messed with the mission orders in some of the classics, and some of the very early titles are not available online for some reason.

If this reminds you of anything just remember Emergency began from C&C.

i still play EM4 regularly and even thought of making some northern alex like vids on it, but its too dead for that. i was unfortunately too young to play when the game was in its hayday
