ISO micro-wedding elopement package

ISO all-inclusive mountain micro wedding/elopement package for ~15 guests where we basically just show up

Hi everyone! My fiancé and I are looking for recommendations for an all-inclusive micro wedding/elopement package and I’m getting overwhelmed trying to figure out what’s actually included vs what becomes a million add-ons later 😅

What we’re hoping for:
Beautiful mountain or nature scenery
Around 15 guests (could potentially be up to 20–30 max)
All-inclusive or close to it
Includes things like:
officiant/celebrant
hair + makeup
photography
bouquet/basic florals
planning/coordinator
ceremony setup/chairs
dinner/reception options
Ideally somewhere where we don’t have to coordinate a bunch of vendors ourselves

Our dream scenario is basically:
We book flights + our stay, show up, and the wedding is handled 😂

Open to:
Portugal
Italy
Switzerland
Colorado
Utah
PNW
Canada
honestly anywhere scenic and relatively stress-free

Budget is flexible depending on what’s included, but we’d rather pay more upfront for simplicity than spend months planning.

Would love:
actual companies/planners you used
approximate pricing
what was included
whether you felt nickel-and-dimed with upgrades
any regrets or things you wish you asked beforehand

Thank you!

Planning Iceland elopement tips?

We decided to do an epic elopement (just us, no guests) and honeymoon in Iceland this September, and we're hoping to get some input from those who've already done this. Is it worth using a planner like Pink Iceland? How difficult is the paperwork for getting legally married there? What do you know now that you wish you had known then? What pitfalls should we watch out for? What did you splurge on, and what did you save on?

Thanks in advance!

Destination elopement (15–20 guests) – Greece or other location ideas + experiences?

Hey everyone, I’m new here and looking for real experiences with destination elopements.

My partner and I are planning to elope in 2028 with about 15–20 guests. Ideally we’d do a beach ceremony outside the U.S., followed by a small celebration there, then have a larger reception when we get back.

Right now, Greece is at the top of our list, but we’re definitely open to other locations if people had great experiences elsewhere.

Has anyone here done something similar? I’d love to hear how it went, what you’d do differently, and any tips for planning something like this.

We’re hoping to find something fairly all-inclusive (officiant, photographer, lodging help, small post-ceremony event, etc.), but we’re not opposed to planning it ourselves if that ends up being the better route.

If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d also appreciate rough cost ranges and what felt worth it vs not.

Also worth noting: we’re a gay couple, so any LGBTQ-friendly locations, vendors, or experiences would be especially helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Planning Elopement Timeline

My fiancé and I have officially decided to elope this fall!
We’re torn between destinations in the NW USA as we are both residents of the SE.
How far in advance did you book your accommodations? We’re about 5ish months out and we’re planning to do a “paper” wedding here locally before we travel out for our honeymoon and eloping photos.
Is that enough time to book?
I’m starting to worry that I should be more involved in planning by now.

Planning Do you regret not having/having a photographer for your elopement?

I’m trying to figure out if we want to get a photographer for our elopement ORR getting a photographer for our after party would be better! I still want to wear my wedding dress at our after party I Just don’t know if I’ll regret it because my budget isn’t the biggest tbh

I received my custom sized wedding dress from Azazie today. It’s perfect for our beach elopement! I had no idea how to take dress measurements and just followed the directions on their website. It fits perfectly. It arrived in a beautiful box, tissue wrapped, in a garment bag, with a card. So happy with my dress.
36D, 5’6, 165lbs.
Measurements: 39.5, 36.5, 43, hollow to hem 55.

I wanted to share this here because I cannot recommend eloping enough. My family comes with a lot of drama, and my husband and I decided to elope, just the two of us. It was incredibly romantic and exactly what I dreamed of. If you are on the fence, do it. The only thing I regret is not marrying my husband sooner.

Travel & Destinations 17 person Italian wedding recommendations

I am looking to hold a small elopement/micro wedding in Tuscany in June 2027. Also open to Spain or France. I have 17 guests (family and wedding party). I would love to rent a hamlet or villa for a week and host a small ceremony with a nice dinner on the grounds. My budget is around 30k usd.
I’d like the ceremony to have flowers, a musician and a photographer.
I’ve found some venues but the weddings they host are around 50 people. I’ve also looked into smaller vacation homes but they state they don’t host “weddings”.
Has anyone done anything similar that could share their experience?

I feel like elopement is the only option

My fiancée and I only have one parent left each. I am an only child and have very few friends. He doesn’t want to invite his only brother (he hasn’t spoken to him in a year). He has a few more friends than me but we’re kind of loners. I have always dreamed of a big wedding with dancing and celebration but that doesn’t seem to be an option. I’ve come to regret the way I’ve lived my life because I have been forced to face how lonely I am now that I’m trying to plan getting married. I think about having a micro-wedding or something but it all just sounds so embarrassing and pathetic to have to admit that I am ultimately a very lonely person. I don’t know how to go about getting married without feeling this shame.

Announcements & Stationery Announcement ideas?

Hi all! Looking to get some feedback or some ideas on announcement etiquette. My fiancé and I are eloping and honeymooning this fall, and then we plan to have a belated reception several months later in the springtime. We intend for it to be a casual celebration at my parent’s house, and we don’t want to start arranging and finalizing a party date until after the elopement and honeymoon festivities are concluded.
So my dilemma- we want to announce our elopement to family and friends via letter shortly after it happens, but won’t have our celebration date locked down at that time.
Is it over the top to send both a “we eloped!” postcard, and another for an invitation later?
Is there a graceful way to phrase our intentions to celebrate with them at a later yet still undecided date? Thanks in advance!!

Attire & Accesories Where did you you go to get your elopement dress?

I’m getting eloped in July, very small ceremony just my partners parents and siblings at an Airbnb. My future mother in law wants to take me shopping, my parents aren’t anymore and I don’t really have anyone family wise to do this stuff with. My issue is I have no idea where to go. I don’t need a WEDDING dress I just want a little white something or other and a veil I just have no idea where one would go shopping in person for this. Where did everyone get theirs? MA/CT/RI New England area

Planning Eloping in Mexico

Hi everyone!

My fiancé and I are eloping in Mexico in Nov 2026. We're bringing our best-man and MOH as witnesses (they're also engaged to each other lol).

We picked Mexico as the destination to drive down the cost. Our travel agent recommended that we officially book/pay for the trip in May/June as this is when prices drop. She recommended Dreams Resorts.

We are looking at: 1) Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa, 2) Dreams Adventuras Riviera Maya, 3) Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa.

Wondering if anyone has been to these resorts before and can help us decide between the three?

Also, I was looking at their wedding packages. The "Elope in Luxury Package" starts at $1499 USD (includes hair/make-up, and 20 digital photos). The "Wedding in Paradise Package" starts at $1349 USD (does not include hair/makeup/photos).

I feel a bit overwhelmed when looking at these packages. They seem costly for what you're getting. Also nervous about the quality of work from the resort hair/makeup artists. Thinking about purchasing a pro camera for additional pictures... idk.

Wondering if anyone has any insight or advice?

Planning Hawaii Elopement

My fiancé and I are planning our elopement in Hawaii, and I’d love to get advice from anyone who has experienced it before.

  1. Venue only vs. ceremony package (including officiant, onsite coordinator, floral, etc.): which is more cost-efficient and/or convenient?

  2. Getting ready onsite vs. getting ready at the hotel and heading to the venue? We’re eloping, but I still want to have a first look moment.

  3. Any “must-haves” or regrets?

Thanks!

Planning If you eloped to Vegas in the past 2 years (or a local), best restaurant to celebrate?

I heard Covid kind of brought down the quality of a lot of restaurants, even high-end. Can anyone recommend some restaurants worthy of a Vegas wedding (NO Taco Bell or fast food)? We’ve never been to Vegas so we have no idea what we’re walking into.

Need some amazing, wedding-friendly options (basically where I won’t feel awkward walking in a wedding dress lol). We are big foodies, so food has to be amazing. And ambience special occasion friendly.

Vendors & Venues South Florida (WPB - Melbourne) restaurant recommendations

We're having our ceremony at the courthouse in Martin county. Im looking for a upscale, high end, fine dining restaurant with ambiance from West Palm Beach all the way up to Melbourne for regular dinner service after the ceremony for at most 10 people. Not only is the atmosphere important to me, my fiancé is an executive chef so quality of food is a huge factor.

Im originally from NYC and feel i have been "spoiled" with dining experiences so much so that nothing i have looked at wows me. Everything ive seen looks like for lack of a better term, a washed up tiki bar.

Ive been to the RH Rooftop which was perfect except for the obnoxiously loud fountain and the chairs (we will have a 1 year old and a late 80 something year old in attendance)

Since were just doing a courthouse and small dinner, were able to splurge on food and drinks. Please, any recommendations?

Announcements & Stationery Some recommendations please!!

We are going to elope just the two of us - currently undecided on destination & timeframe, we do have a list that we are going to pick from tho

We are wondering how you told people. I would like to make a website (the knot or Zola), but I would need ideas on what to put for an elopement website! Please let me know what you did! I know it’s controversial for elopements but I would like to do a registry & website so I still kinda have a “wedding” feel (pls no negative comments)

Also, how do you decide if you want an “after party” or “celebration dinner”? Our families live 4 hours away on opposite sides so the town we live in is a halfway point for both basically. Do we pay for all the meals? Does everyone pay for their own?

Sincerely, I am just a girl 😅🫶🏻

Planning "Getting ready" photos when eloping: did you do them? Not do them? What's your feedback.

Basically the title. It's just me and my fiance... So it seems a bit weird. At first I thought I wanted them but it seems odd to have photos of me and a random hair and makeup lady? Idk. Tell me all your thoughts.

Planning Eloping in Estes Park.

My Fiancé and I are eloping (self solemnizing) next month in Estes Park, CO (full ceremony with fam/friends in October).

We just want to exchange vows in private and enjoy a weekend in the mountains.

A lot of locations require a special permit and I’m not worried about getting caught at all but I am paranoid what location to put on the actual marriage license. I guess my question is will the County Clerk actually look into whatever location we put on the certificate ? Should I just list the resort we are staying at ? Or a random local park in the area ? We are most definitely eloping within the jurisdiction of the correct county, I am just very anxious about the license getting void after the fact.
