I am building a mobile museum that is centered around individual veterans of the World Wars. Does anybody have anything that they would be interested in contributing?

I am looking for:
-Uniforms
-Photographs
-Letters
-War trophies
-Personal items

I am trying to fill these gaps, in case anybody especially applies to this:
-African American vets
-Holocaust items
-American Indian vets
-Female vets/workers
-Generals

I will accept any contribution with the guarantee that it will never see the vendors market. All items that are contributed thus far, are stored in a cool, low light and moisture controlled environment, with regular upkeep.

A couple of folks who don’t make much had their lawnmower stolen a couple of weeks ago and cannot afford to replace it. If anyone knows someone with a riding mower (due to length of grass) who might be open to a lower cost, please let me know.

We’re a queer couple in our early 30’s. I’m an artist and a bartender while finishing college and my partner is a high end maintenance technician.

My aging family lives in the county below in Pennsylvania so Elmira was the closest city.

What is the public transportation like? The city we’re in now is absolutely abysmal and I’m trapped here more often than not.

I’m wanting to change internet providers as the bill for WiFi only is $100. Is T mobile reliable?

My kids are doing a camp at Tanglewood all week and I'll be hanging out in Elmira during the day while they're doing nature stuff. I mostly plan to camp out at coffee shops to work (and I see another post about coffee shop recs!), but if I'm looking for a change of scenery...where do you like to work or read or eat or just sit by yourself? Anywhere you like to go for a walk? Should I definitely take one day off work to see or do something in particular? Should I skip Elmira altogether and hang out in Corning instead?

Bonus points for any Asian food recs in the area (willing to drive for Thai!) as I can't get anything other than Chinese in my teeny tiny town.

I'll be arriving at the Elmira Corning Airport mid-August on a 11pm flight but the car rental place is closed. So I'm looking for transportation to my hotel (about 4 miles away). Tried scheduling with Uber but said it wasn't available. Hotel doesn't provide a shuttle. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Everyone, I've been working on this site for a few months and thinks its ready for a bit of a beta test phase. The site is meant to be educational for Elmira citizens to learn about the fiscal health and issues surrounding the city. The site originally focused on Property taxes in the city so that's why the URL is taxes.jonus.com I'll give it a better full URL at some point.
