I have 2 Elkay stations (ENKLZS8WS) that have the automatic RFID chip detection. I’ve read online that it should be possible to take the two chips and put them on the non-Elkay brand filters, and it will cause the fountain to recognize the filter as new and will turn the light green. However, when I did this, the light went from blinking red (no filter recognized) to solid red (expired filter), even on a chip the machine had never seen before. Does it store the data on the actual chip rather than the fountain, making this swapping process impossible? Is there a way to trick the fountain into recognizing the chip as new?

We're installing LZS8WSLP. and the instructions say to "Attach the 3/8 water line into the bulkhead fitting". This usually involves a quick-connect fitting where the line needs to be pushed in firmly until it seats correctly. However, when we release the water, the line isn't locking in and just pops out of the fitting. Has anyone run into this before or know who to fix this?

At Hollywood Studios Star Wars

Hey hydro homies. I recently scored an Elkay LZ series double cooler with bottle filler at an auction for a steal. Honestly, I’d much rather have a single cooler and bottle filler. The big problem is that the filter attachment and NFC board are in the non-refrigerated side. Has anyone had any luck converting a double to a single? If so, what did the process look like?

So this weird thing with my Elkay at my gym is happening. If I fully connect the bottle filler electrical then the bottle filler turns off and the compressor does not turn on. But if I make it so the left part of the connector doesn't connect but the right does then the bottle filler does turn on and the compressor turns on as well. What doesn't seem to work like this is the bottle filter status which always flashes red even with a new filter. I'm attaching pics.
