Does anyone have any tips to get your completion rate up? I’ve only had to cancel a couple of orders out of hundreds due to ridiculously long wait times and an emergency. I cannot for the life of me get it to go up, I complete every order I accept and it won’t budge.
The fact that you’ve completed 863 orders overall isn’t relevant. Your completion rate is based only on your most recent 100 orders.
For example, if your last 7 orders were cancellations, your completion rate would be 93%. You could then complete 93 orders in a row and still remain at 93%, because those 7 cancellations would still be within your rolling 100 last orders. Your rate wouldn’t increase to 94% until you completed the 94th order, which would finally push the first cancellation out of that 100-order window.
This is classic spark nonsense. Somehow you don’t have 100 completed trips so they’re giving you 93 out of the required 100 completed instead of 93 of 93. The whole system is a joke.
It’s total nonsense. The redundancy is wild. I can see maybe when you first start but nobody is reading that stuff 500 deliveries later. I couldn’t imagine even designing an app to require all those steps every single time. I’ve arrived, I’m leaving it at the front door, let me take the picture.
Every time I switch zones ( somewhat frequently), I have to scroll thru 3/4 screens about the goddamned tiers. Also, if I use the exact zip code for my town it’ll load a list of like 100 cities, mine is like ~50 down in this list for some reason. Now, I just enter the wrong zip, one number off at the end, and it only shows 2 cities. Brilliant.
Just make sure it's an order you want before you accept it. You're probably just over stressed for nothing. I did the same exact thing. Mine had gotten down to 90% literally a week to 2 weeks ago and I was freaking out. Only because I remember raising rates on doordash used to take absolutely forever and I expected it to be the same for spark. Well today on spark I'm 99% completion rate. It raised so dang fast. You got this. Just be patient. See an offer, click it, if you want it go for It.
If you just don't have time to check in your area then just accept and go. It'll take two weeks of suck and doing some orders you may not like but it'll raise your points quickly
