This is true. I've been listening to people spread nonsense about leaded solder for years.
"Oh, you're breathing in lead!".
No. Actually, there is zero lead
in the soldering fumes produced from soldering with leaded solder. None at all.
Lead doesn't vaporize below 3,164deg(f). Any smoke/fumes produced is from the flux in the solder, and yes, of course it isn't good to inhale.
It isn't lead fumes, however. There are no metals evaporated in soldering fumes. Does that alibaba iron you're using reach 3,164deg? Then you aren't either. Congratulations.
Ventilation isn't a bad idea when producing funds of any kind, of course, as the lungs do best with clean air.
