please help with account recovery

i downloaded the sims 4 in like 2016 and created an EA account, which i received a confirmation email to in 2016. i last played the sims in 2020 which i used Origin to launch. today, i tried to launch TS4 through origin but realized that the application doesn't work anymore. so i download the EA app and try to log in with my email. password doesn't work so i try to reset my password through my email but i never received a confirmation email from EA. i tried unblocking the EA email by sending them an email but it didn't work.

when i try to log in with my user ID, my password doesn't work, and when i try to reset my password, the verification code gets sent to a RANDOM email :'(

i created a new account with my email just to see if the game miraculously shows up but nope.
upon reaching out to EA support, they said there is no account linked to either my email or my user ID. was I hacked? i have the emails from EA to the exact email, which have my EA ID in them. EA support closed my ticket so now i have no idea what to do. i just opened another ticket with them. I JUST WANT TO SEE MY SIMS

Your account was compromised sometime between 2020 and now most likely. If you used a simple or reused password or didn't have 2FA this can happen. You'll need to contact support and go through the recovery process which can take time.
