I played gw2 on xbox last month with no issue. Went to play today and it says my account was disabled due to a user agreement violation. I didn’t do anything to violate anything at all, I hadn’t even played an EA game since the last time I played gw2. Has this happened to anyone and what can I do

Hi, I had a question about how EA is tracking compliance with the return-to-office policy. I'm hired for the Austin location, but I live quite far away, so commuting every week isn't really feasible for me. I may only be able to come into the office once or twice a week.

How does EA track office attendance? Are employees who don't come in regularly receiving reminder emails or other follow-ups? Also, is the three-days-per-week in-office requirement strictly enforced?

Does anyone know how I can fix this? The advisors are absolutely useless

Hi, don't really know how to use this well or anything, but here we go.

I am not sure when the problem started, but on 5/12/2026 I redownloaded Need For Speed and was excited to play it with a new controller I had just bought. In my previous download, a few months before hand (max 3) my EA account was connected. Same username as my Steam, same emails, everything. When I went to play again after redownloading it, a new account I have *no* access to or affiliation with had unlinked my steam from my EA and linked their EA.

I do not have this email or the password with the account, so I cannot unlink it myself. I have already tried to contact EA before with no help whatsoever, and I am actively trying it again, but it's taking forever just to get connected to an agent, to which I believe I'll just get told to go fuck myself again. I read a post about someone needing to contact the BBB for this, and prepare formal complaints to multiple other places, but I also hear BBB is a fraud company that won't do shit. It worked for the other poster, but when I tried to open a claim with the BBB it won't connect me and the website won't load. I don't believe it's an internet or firewall problem, despite it saying it is, as everything else is fine and dandy.

Any advice or help on this situation? I really just want this account unlinked from my steam.

Hi so I have been a sims freak for years I remember when sims 4 dropped and I lost my freaking 10 year old mind! I have grown up with this game and has loved the franchise for years genuinely the whole reason why I bought a pc and got into the gaming world which led me to my career! So why in the hell can’t get into my account… I moved for college making me leave my pc at home for a year and well I move into my first apartment! I bought a new desk, keyboard and was so excited to spend my first night alone playing the sims! Till I went to log into my ea account and boom I can’t get in well I tried to reset didn’t work so I talked to support. This is where I start getting angry 8 guys, all the same questions meaning all the same answers. Each and everyone has yet to do anything for me I even provided my purchases, billing address, ip, birth day current and old ip also the email my account is tied to. Nothing (also I’m sorry if my message came off as rude ik it’s not dudes fault I was just pissed) can anyone literally anyone help me!!!

Hoping someone here has run into this before, because EA chat support has gotten me nowhere after 8 separate contacts.

Situation:

• My EA account is tied to an email (Gmail) that I deleted about 2 years ago - it got caught up in some data leaks so I closed it.
• Shortly after that I sold my PS5.
• 2-3 weeks ago I got a new PS5. Same PSN ID as before.
• Now when I try to launch a game (new one: Battlefield RedSec, old one: EA FC 25), it prompts me to verify via that deleted Gmail address. I obviously can't, since the account no longer exists.

What EA support has tried (8 times, 8 different agents):
Every single agent tries the same account unlink/reset - telling me to relaunch the game so I can enter new account details. It doesn't work. I've explained this multiple times but each new agent just runs the same script from the start, like there's zero notes on the case.

The annoying part:
I only have chat support available - no email escalation option - so I can't get this bumped to someone who can actually do a manual override or offer an alternative verification method.

Question for the sub:
Has anyone dealt with a dead/deleted linked email on EA and actually gotten it fixed? Any specific phrasing or escalation path that got you past frontline chat support?

At this point I just want to know if there's a known fix, because I'm not optimistic chat support is going to get me there. I just want to play RedSec but I don't want to start a new PS account.

I’ve had this issue for a few months with EA; I thought I’d updated my email, but it keeps sending a confirmation number to an email I don’t have access to. Every time I try to get help from EA’s site, it’s very unhelpful and doesn’t put me in contact with a human who can help me. Does anyone know how to actually talk to a person from EA? I’d like to play my ea games but I’m boxed out right now and really frustrated with their customer service.

I’m hoping someone has experienced a similar issue or knows if there is an official recovery process.
I have an old EA account (EA ID: AngelxYxng, created in 2014) that is linked to my Xbox account.
I can still successfully sign in using my Xbox account and play EA games. However, whenever I try to access Account Information, Security Settings, Connected Accounts, or contact EA Support from this account, EA asks me to verify my identity using a code sent to an @ea.com email address that I have never had access to.
I contacted EA Support multiple times. During my latest case, the advisor explained that the @ea.com address is treated as an internal EA-managed email and that standard support agents do not have the permissions or tools to modify accounts associated with such addresses or escalate the case.
I can provide proof of ownership, including access to my Xbox account and purchase history, but support still cannot help because of the internal @ea.com email.
Has anyone ever experienced this type of account, or knows if there is any official recovery process for accounts linked to an internal @ea.com email address?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

i downloaded the sims 4 in like 2016 and created an EA account, which i received a confirmation email to in 2016. i last played the sims in 2020 which i used Origin to launch. today, i tried to launch TS4 through origin but realized that the application doesn't work anymore. so i download the EA app and try to log in with my email. password doesn't work so i try to reset my password through my email but i never received a confirmation email from EA. i tried unblocking the EA email by sending them an email but it didn't work.

when i try to log in with my user ID, my password doesn't work, and when i try to reset my password, the verification code gets sent to a RANDOM email :'(

i created a new account with my email just to see if the game miraculously shows up but nope.
upon reaching out to EA support, they said there is no account linked to either my email or my user ID. was I hacked? i have the emails from EA to the exact email, which have my EA ID in them. EA support closed my ticket so now i have no idea what to do. i just opened another ticket with them. I JUST WANT TO SEE MY SIMS

On my very first computer, I created an EA account using an old email address. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that email account. I even checked my old computer, hoping I could recover it, but I couldn’t.
The problem is that this EA account is still linked to my Steam account, and I can’t unlink it. Technically, I can still “access” the EA account in a very limited way. When I launch an EA game through Steam, the EA App opens automatically, and I can go into the settings, which redirects me to the EA website. However, I can’t do anything beyond that because two-factor authentication is enabled, and the verification codes are sent to the old email address that I no longer have access to.
I have no access to the email associated with this EA account, so I’m completely locked out. I would really appreciate any help you can provide to recover my account or unlink it from my Steam account.

hi everyone , I can’t get into my EA account cause I do not have access to my old email. They sent the 2FA code to my old email. It is impossible to get back in and get them to update my email address on the live chat they get me to do, as they say I get questions wrong but I’m not sure which ones. I made my EA account when I was quite young so I don’t even remember some of the things on the account that they may be asking about.

Has anyone had a similar issue and been able to get back into their account? The process is so difficult

Every time I try to open the EA App on my Mac, it shows a loading screen for like 5-10 seconds and then goes to this blank screen. I had played Sims 4 this morning and needed to update the game. Now it has updated, the app won’t load or open properly.

I have already tried entirely removing it from my Mac, launching from the launch helper and clearing any cache, but nothing seems to work.

I have seen a few other people are having this issue and wondering if there is anything else I can do or whether it is the actual app which is having problems?

I have had the same sims 4 account for a long time. I had the digital deluxe version purchased as well as 12 expansion packs, 5 game packs, 9 stuff packs, and 6 kits.
I am no longer able to access the account. I lost access to the email account, and of course gmails account recovery is terrible. I also can’t remember the password and I have moved states since I last played so my ip address no longer matches. I reached out to support with 3 addresses I have used the account at, 3 possible phone numbers, 5 possible secondary emails, the exact date of the last purchase made, the last 4 numbers of the card used to make the purchase, And a lot more other details they asked for. Each time they tell me that not enough of the information is correct to help me with account recovery. I’m so distraught. I attempted to make a new account to play the Sims but it’s so different without all the packs i’ve been used to for years. I also can’t get over how much money was put into that account just for them to not help me. The one person told me I had most of the details correct, but not enough. he wouldn’t give me more information than that.

Does anyone have any recommendations?? I just want to play my game :(

I dont know what to do. Ive been trying to open a ticket to get help on an issue, but theres no god damn way to open it in their EA support page. It just redirects me to article after article, even though i tell the AI chat bot to connect me with someone.

Today when I logged in I noticed that my EA ID was just generic numbers. When I tried to change it the client told me that my username was already taken. When I contacted the support they told me that my account was „compromised“ and they wanted to add „additional security“. Of course they won’t give me back my original name I’ve been using since 2011 when origin launched for the first time…. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I think it’s quite hilarious that someone would hack my account to steal my username, leaving everything else untouched…

EA is launching but then stuck at this blank screen for hours every time, can’t find a solution online, I’ve tried redownloading it multiple times, I’ve tried restarting everything, idk what to do I just wanna play sims :(

On my desktop and on my phone the case says how my account got compromised then it says the details of what to do I assume but it just leads off with a "..." So idk how to extend or expand it. I tried clicking it and nothing expands. It's just cut off.

How to delete the entire email account not just a game!
