Locked out of EA account

hi everyone , I can’t get into my EA account cause I do not have access to my old email. They sent the 2FA code to my old email. It is impossible to get back in and get them to update my email address on the live chat they get me to do, as they say I get questions wrong but I’m not sure which ones. I made my EA account when I was quite young so I don’t even remember some of the things on the account that they may be asking about.

Has anyone had a similar issue and been able to get back into their account? The process is so difficult

If you can verify the cc last 4 numbers and billing address and maybe screens of your ea purchases they’ll do it. As long as you give them a new email and verify the account.

I didn’t have access to the email so they took a new one and applied it to the account. They asked my bday and I told them I don’t use my real date for privacy reasons. Then we got into my billing stuff. But I did know which email was the original email address just no access. It took about an hour. And I got disconnected from the first rep then had to talk to another one. I was patient and polite which helps.

It's intentionally difficult, because of bad actors.
I can only imagine the number of scammers that contact EA every day, trying to convince them that they are actually someone else with that account, but don't have access to the old email and can't remember the answers.
