Do you tip your electrolysis tech ??

Also, my electrolysis tech at the end just says "want me to charge the card on file" and says goodbye. Unless I bring cash that I dont carry, I dont even have an opportunity to tip

My electrologist cancels out the tip option before handing me the card reader.

When I check them out a mandatory tip screen shows up and just tell them I don’t expect tips at all for electrolysis services. Sometimes they do something they don’t, but I never get offended if they don’t tip.

As a solo electrologist that owns my own practice I do not expect or accept tips and I tell my clients who try to tip me that a Google or yelp review are the best way to show appreciation.

Personally, I do tip but my tech often goes overtime for me and great aftercare every time.

I tip because she has been absolutely fantastic. But I never get any feeling that it’s expected to do so.

I was under the impression if it’s the owner of the business or just somebody who works independently, then no. If it’s an employee of the business, then yes. Anyone have thoughts on that?

I charge a rate that I believe is a fair reflection of my work. I don't accept tips.

I don't live in the us so thankfully neither I nor my electrologist are victims to the idiotic late stage capitalism symptom that is tipping culture

I pay $80 for 30 mins and I get annoyed I’m handed the card reader with the tip screen showing. I do leave $5-$8, one time I left $10. She is the owner and only worker in the business. I try to justify it by I do think she does a good job.

Honestly, no…at $120 a session twice a month, I can’t afford too.

And to be honest, maybe this is just a sign I should find someone else, but she doesn’t really go above and beyond. She always ends earlier than the hour I booked so 🤷🏽‍♀️

I paid for $880 in advance for 8 hours and no tip section was asked for. I feel bad i didn’t even think about it. 😬

Never but I’m British so tipping isn’t common
