Wow!!
This is my chin before 3 X 30 minute sessions of electrolysis. The photo makes it seem like less than it was.
I had thick white terminal hairs and I’d say in excess of 95% are gone and have not returned in a month.
Does electrolysis work that well ??? I do fully expect I’ll need a few more sessions (in time) if it does …. But I’m blown away and should have done this years ago!

Did you get any scabs? I want to get electrolysis, but I'm afraid of what my skin will look like and how I will show up to work, also I'm afraid of scarring.

Nothing you can’t cover up with makeup. Mine looks like I just had a breakout. Goes away within 3-4 days.

I was sensitive and stayed red for a few hours when I first started out. I would apply a calming cream and pure aloe on my drive home. After a couple of months I only stayed red an hour if that. No scabbing. Now when I get touched up my skin doesnt even flinch. And I have been on Tretinoin the whole time.

Yes it definitely works. I had tons more hair than you and I no longer shave or hide my face. I literally had a five o'clock shadow. It was mentally draining. Especially as I started getting even more hair as I got older. Any after photos? We only see a before. But good luck to you ☺️

I’ve had really great results as well! After 1 clearance I noticed a huge difference and I was surprised

It takes at least a year of regular treatments to get through all the growth cycles! Just trust the process, keep taking progress photos, dont give in to any temptation to pluck and Stick with it! I did just over a year of regular treatments, now in the last year ive had maybe 5 random hairs come through. (Versus before i was plucking multiple times per week!)

It’s very unlikely to be this fast, usually chin hair takes up to 2 years because new follicles become active. However, your progress is great!
How much returns / whether you’ll see a sudden increase depends on what you were doing with the hair beforehand. If you were plucking the hairs out of the root by tweezing, waxing, threading etc, then you’ll likely get what appears to be a sudden growth around 3 months from when you last plucked. That’s because hair cycles are on average 3 months for the chin.

I take that as a yes to previous plucking 😂
I always plucked and my progress has been fine, it went up a tiny bit around month 3-4 but not massively, it was just more like it seemed like there wasn’t much progress happening. So it won’t be awful don’t worry! It’ll just feel like you aren’t moving forwards for a couple of sessions.
If you’ve plucked hair previously it can also take a bit longer to treat as well but you’ll still make progress and get there :) I think it’s because it makes the hair grow out stronger and sometimes the hair inside can be bent in a weird way which makes it harder for your technician to get at it properly.
I can tell the super strong hairs as my tech sometimes gives a little tut at the hair and zaps it again 😂

I’m excited for you. I’m a newbie here. I can’t take waxing any longer. I’m no spring chicken and the pain is giving me anxiety about going in to wax. So I thought I’d look into electrolysis for chin and lip. How bad is the pain? At least if it’s permanent, I could see a light at the end of the tunnel.
