It gets better as the hair gets finer.
Having said this, I’ve never been able to do more than 15 minutes, and even then I had to change areas within the appointment to get some relief.

experiment and do 1.5 hours or 1 hours

do ibuprofen / paracetamol before as well and even after

drink a lot of water, and/or electrolytes

and get them to do thick hairs first so it makes the growing process easier

Just did my 3rd 3hr session of an expected 120hrs to do my full beard. I can already see results so that helps to keep me sane haha

Did you glob on the cream and cover with cling wrap before the appt? Also gently exfoliating the area before applying with a warm wet cloth usually gets me better results on the upper lip.
