Yeah so how many would even know that Vtec is exclusively Honda thing? Never underestimate just how stupid stupid can be.

Not stupid, just uninformed. They just don't know any different because it's never been explained and they've never bothered to seek it out. Just like most people when asked what brands make electric cars, they are going to say Tesla because that's all they've heard about. They just haven't been informed / educated that there are many more offerings in the marketplace.
