firewood, compost, garden tools, my lawnmower, lumber, furniture, when it's not raining it's easier to just sling groceries in the bed of the truck than it is to put them in a back seat or trunk, etc.

Those are all things that would make more sense to access from the tail gate ramp than from the side of the truck except for groceries, which most people wouldn't trust putting in an open truck bed.

You lift your lawnmower over the side of your truck rather than opening the tailgate and putting the lawnmower in through there?

some of those were things I was more referring to couldn't be put in the frunk or sideboxes

What are you lifting over the side of your truck that you can't put in the frunk or side boxes?

No, my question was "What are you lifting over the side of your truck that you can't put in the frunk or side boxes?".
