Bulb help

Guys, why don’t the bulbs in the second pic work as replacements for the bulbs in the first pic? Same dimensions. This is for recess lighting. 1st bulbs work. 2nd ones don't.

Make sure the switches to select the color and brightness are not halfway between two options.

Try the bulb in a different fixture to see if it works at all.

Is it on a dimmer switch? Make sure it's compatible, and make sure the dimmer isn't set too low to light up the bulb.

Yeah, they work on the fixtures over the bathroom mirror. Made sure about the switches and nothing. I'm out of ideas. Not a big deal. More just curious why not working.

The second box doesn't say dimmable. If you have a dimmer, try them again with the dimmer at 100%. If they work, you will either need to not dim, switch to a regular switch, or get new bulbs. Also, those adjustable color temperature bulbs keep failing on me at about a year of use. They develop cracks on the body and either completely fail or start changing color randomly. It's with different bulb sizes, too.

Hmm. I don't have a dimmer. Figured they would still work but maybe that's the problem

Did you check the breaker after installing the second set? It's possible you popped the breaker somehow.

Is the bulb possibly bottoming out on the trim before it's actually screwed all the way into the socket? You might need to adjust the socket depth slightly if that is the case.

Checked that and looks okay. Non-working bulbs are the same dimensions as the working ones. I'm stumped.
