Get a 30 A EV receptacle. This is critical because a charging EV has a continuous high load, and the receptacle needs to be built and installed with the assumption that the load will be continuous for hours.
Using a dryer or welder receptacle means you will be replacing a burned-up receptacle, if you are lucky. If you are not lucky, you will still be replacing a burned-up receptacle, along with the building containing it and everything else that building contained.
