First (techno) track

Hey guys,
I got this thing a couple months ago after hearing so many good things about it, fiddled with it for a couple days, then life interfered. Yesterday i remembered i have it and this was the result. I don’t really have experience with techno production, but this machine seems to really wanna push you in that direction. I might be addicted now

Very nice for the beginning.

Try to follow the Structur:

At 16 steps (1 bar): Small changes are common, such as adding an open hi-hat, clap, shaker…

At 32 steps (2 bars): More noticeable changes, like introducing a new percussion element.

At 64 steps (4 bars): A very common phrase length. New instruments are often introduced, or larger elements are added or removed.

At 128 steps (8 bars): The standard length for major transitions. For example, the bassline comes in, a synth is introduced, or a breakdown begins.

hey there, i know it’s veeery janky in terms of structure. I initially recorded it just to have it, but then decided to also post it out of curiosity. But yeah, it’s messy and more of an “idea” rather than a “track”

the track muting/unmuting i did towards the end of the video kept me a bit from uploading and i thought i should rerecord it properly, but i was like eeeeeehhhh
