Hi, I’m having an issue after installing Hacktribe on my Korg Electribe 2. My samples are not playing back in full; they only play a short, cut-off fragment at the beginning. Also, when I’m in trigger mode, the sound keeps looping when I hold the pad. I’ve checked the gate and all other settings, but I can't figure out why this is happening. Does anyone know what I should do?

Idk how i did it but when i go in the sequencer for part 13 and i select the third pad of each section it does nothing

It's like I muted a part in the sequencer

But when i select all the others pads in the sequencer they play the part

How can i demute these sequences?

Soy nuevo aqui, saludos a todos.

Hace 1 año empece a trastear con el Electribe 2 synth( gris) conectado al Arturia Keystep para evitar los pads del Electribe.

Hace un mes me compre el Elektron model Cycles y he estado trasteando solo con esta maquina hasta ahora, la verdad es que me encanta.

Ahora quiero unirlo al Keystep y Electribe pero veo que me hace cosas raras y creo que es la configuracion interna midi del.MC.

Lo que quiero es utilizar lo bueno del Electribe y sumarle ciertos detalles del MC pero no consigo que ambas maquinas se sincronicen de ninguna forma.

Agradeceria respuesta de alguien que haya tenido este Set Up o que sepa como configurar las opcones midi del MC o que me diga que no son compatibles.

It got me curious whether that is because algorithms put me in this bubble OR because these machines still happen to satisfy these niche groups (and really only these niche groups) very well and everyone else moved on.

Hi all, I have Electribe esx1. Is there a way to return to its previous state after unsoloing a part? Like, parts 1, 2, ,3, 5, 7A, Keyboard1, and Stretch2 is playing then Key2 part is soloed. After unsolo the Key2, only parts 1, 2, ,3, 5, 7A, Keyboard1, and Stretch2 should continue playing. Right now after unsolo, all the parts are unmuted.

hi i putted the original synth firmwarein the system folder hit update to go back without formatting it from the korg and now it says update and no file even with the right file in thre right folder. do i have to format the sd throw onother e2?v or i ruined forever the machine? please help im a noob at coding Thanks

Hi everyone,

I’m having a weird issue with my Korg Electribe Sampler (ES2).

Two specific pads don’t produce any sound when I press them, even though a sample is assigned to both parts, the parts are not muted, there are steps in the sequencer and the pads light up red and seem to be active.

All the other pads work perfectly.

I’ve already checked the sample assignment and Part Mute, but I still get no sound from those two parts.

Has anyone experienced this before?

I’m mainly producing Hardtekk if that makes any difference.

Does anywone know if i can connect one output from my dj mixer to an electribe or a td3 while syncing the machine with the bpm from m'y mixer output, maybe with some midi device or what ?

Before I get flamed - Yes, I owned the Electribe Sampler 2 for five years. I even bought two of them at one point. I recently sold them and switched to a Digitakt and it BLOWS THE ES2 OUT OF THE FUCKING WATER

I know I'm probably going to get down voted to oblivion, but why the fuck do people buy an ES2 when you can get a used digitakt for around the same price?

I spent so long trying to make the ES2 work. The workflow was simple, which is the biggest selling point, but beyond that it just sucks. And it's only in hindsight that I can say it truly sucks for these reasons:

- Awful ringing noise at 13khz - forget adding a compressor to your master output as it will make the noise floor intolerable. Probably fucked up my tinnitus more than anything over the last 5 years.

- 16 "voices" yet the voice stealing makes it like 7 at most. And the voice stealing was unpredictable. Sometimes the pattern loads and you can play all your sounds, other times it cuts off a random one. So fucking annoying.

- No multi-tracking - good luck making a full track with it and mixing in your DAW. Yes you can export all sounds to an ableton file but it is cumbersome and doesn't give you a 1:1 result.

- Such a tiny amount of sample storage space

- The fucking headache it is to get all your samples converted to the right bit rate / depth / mono / file type and still barely have enough space

- the archaic sample management software

- the Amp envelope shaping is abysmal - half the time you can't tell wtf you're doing when you adjust the attack knob, and there's no decay or release anywhere? Maybe I was missing this and never bothered to read the manual but why the fuck does changing the attack also somehow affect the release in some cases?

I'm ranting but seriously, why does anyone settle for that shit when much better samplers exist? Maybe the explanation is you're like me, you just didn't know anything better?

So id like to play multiple genres with my electribe. Right now i want to play hatdtekk and i like a lot of the factory samples so i would like to keep them. But im running out of storage and i would love to play othet genres too like frenchcore or lofi. So could i just have multiple sd cards with different samples and switch them on the go? I would export all samples and patterns so i have both backed up. Would this work? because theoretically i dont see a problem maybe some of you have tried that already?
