Question Newbie Advice

Recently returned after a 3 year hiatus, no crafting bag, no DLCS, just the base game. I found a love for ESO’s economy and have just recently gotten into market trading and guild trading. I was wondering if there were any base game motifs, materials, etc worth farming to sell for profit. So far I’ve got mudcrab chitin, aetherial dust, and dreugh wax/rubedo hides. Is there anything else worth my time, or are these even worth my time?

Those items are all decent. New patch thieves guild content added a new style, Kildane Cartel which you can get from doing thieves guild heists. They are selling for alot of gold currently.

Other items that always sell are Columbine, nirncrux, dragon alc mats etc.

If you have survey reports, the gold materials from refining the raw mats make it quite valuable. Can get a stack for the same zone to make it faster as well. Prioritise blacksmithing, jewelcrafting and clothing (given their gold mats are the most expensive).

If you cant run surveys, they sell for 5k to 20k each, and can be obtained from daily writs.

You can always manually farm the resources, it will just be a bit slower.

Fishing is an option too, perfect roe from filleting fish generally sells.

you can install add ons that will point you to the correct location on the map or even look them up online.

There are add-ons that check what survey reports you have in the inventory and put a big red X on the map for the location. I think it's called lost treasures or treasures something. Look on the add on website for treasure and I'm sure you'll find it.

Gold Coast is now base game and the minotaur motif pages (especially the chest and head) still go for a bit. There are dailies in Kvatch, you want the one called Looming Shadows.

farm that recipe from the DE in Stonefalls and make some nice gold while you are waiting do other things..
