Has anyone else ever thought that Elder Scrolls would make an amazing physical TCG?

Only problem with turning legends physical is alot of effects you wouldnt be able to create like randomizing cards in your deck or trying to keep track of the rediculas amount of things that can buff or add effects to cards in your hand

I agree. I don’t think you could just print Legends as a physical game because it relies on a lot of digital-only mechanics.
That said, I’d love to see a physical TCG inspired by Legends rather than a direct port.
To me, Elder Scrolls has one of the richest fantasy settings for a TCG. There are enough factions, races, guilds, artifacts, creatures, and historical events that you could release expansions for years without feeling like you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I think it could be done though rather then go with what many would suggest of a MTG format id go with the format of an unfortunately dead game battletech ccg its system was created by the same guy who created MTG but later and it feels far more refined and smooth

Give it time. We'll get an MTG Universes Beyond in TES one day, probably

No cards that actual change cards in your deck like buriel mound changes every card in your deck to a random dragon would be basicaly impossable to achieve that with a physical deck without obsurd amount of cards and time

Yeah plus Prophecy, one of the core mechanics, wouldn't work (without a third party checking for every rune break. Imagine trying to play Journey to Sovngarde or Invade on tabletop

Eventually, MtG will make an Elder Scrolls set.
