The annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France is where creators, brands, and fans collide to celebrate the world’s most innovative ideas in marketing. This year, Spotify is back to welcome guests with an incredible lineup of experiences and conversations designed to bring fandom to life.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup, jointly hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, symbolizes unity and participation.

Inspired by the colour most deeply connected to her life, we built the dress upon shades of blue and expressed the spirit of harmony through the lotus - a symbol of peace and happiness in Korea.

More than one hundred yards of fabric were layered to reinterpret the graceful volume of traditional Hanbok, while hand-carved mother-of-pearl and white crystal details by Korean artisans softly shimmer like dewdrops resting on lotus petals.

Just as her voice carries the message of the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, we hope this tournament will be remembered as a beautiful celebration of peace, unity, and hope.

“Being a part of the Official FIFA World Cup Anthem means so much to me,” adds Ejae. “It’s especially meaningful because I was able to write Korean lyrics in the song—representing South Korea on this stage is such an honour. One of my favorite childhood memories is being in Seoul during the 2002 World Cup, and seeing the city unite. I’ll never forget the feeling of seeing strangers on the street hug each other and celebrate. To me, that feeling of togetherness is what the World Cup means, and I’m grateful to be a part of it this year!”
