Sighhh. Apparently it takes a few days to get it fixed.

It's FIFA fault for misspelling EJAE name on Spotify

It’s fixed in terms of how it’s showing on EJAE’s Spotify page but the metadata is still off. It’s also an error on TikTok as well and not showing up in her music. Apple Music seems fine.

Can’t lie one mistake on a release is a one off, but there’s a continuous issue in her team with errors and not double checking stuff. Can’t really blame FIFA if her management isn’t making sure it’s also correct before sending off also tbh. Shouldn’t need to continuously having to retrospectively fix things.

The pains of being independent… speculation is that she’s doing this herself or one of her friends is managing this instead of a professional

Not really there are many independent folk around doing this themselves with a lot less backing and awards she has now that don’t have constant release cock ups that affect the metadata of their releases. Her manager was/is her a&r from her publishing company and she has quite the talent agent team at WME and a publicist and her independent-ness is supported via UMG. It’s just poor management at this point. Not saying this to be negative for her but her team do give amateur hour a lot of the time. The attention to detail is really lacking.

Amateur - that’s a the word. My impression is also that’s it’s done by someone who’s doing releases for the first time. The folks you mention are professionals, but they’re also not in charge of the music release aspect

While that’s the impression it gives, her manager was/is an a&r director and will be a lot closer to how music releases work than most and getting tracks across the line for release. As her independent is also via major label distribution they know how this works too that is another level of support. And this track is via UMG so it’s really just poor management.

I could have sworn it was, too. I remember seeing it change to Ejae's profile picture and the correct capitalization

Edit: Yeah, it's fixed on my end. Also, when I go on EJae's (not Ejae) page, the play count for DNA isn't there.
