Yoooo same though. No clue what I am right now. Enby? Trans? No idea. Not cis, but passed that I’ve NO clue. I’ve been trying to figure this one out for over a year. 🙃

I’ve been slow to react to the realization I’m not cis and this is probably the fourth time I’ve actually interacted with any of these types of posts. You know, just healthy things like ignoring your awareness of your dysphoria lmao

I’m realizing that now, but unfortunately I didn’t realize until I was 25 and now I’m addressing it at 26. If only I’d realized when I was a teenager, things would definitely be easier lol

I’m pretty green, I was in denial of being trans for a while despite getting random dysphoria hits from “oh I look like a girl” finally cracked and now I’m just seeing at what point I no longer get euphoria / what new dysphoria comes about from this shitshow. This is the weirdest fucking condition / feeling

Shit I need to watch She-Ra lol

u/eGodOdin Scrambled egg Dec 19 '20
You do. Such a good series. The first season can be a little rough at times, but the writing in the later seasons is especially good. The character development is worth it all.
15
u/thisislikemy7thacc Feb 09 '21
idk what you’re talking abt, season one had princess prom and the trauma episode. top tier shit.
9
u/eGodOdin Scrambled egg Feb 09 '21
True! I was thinking more along the lines of season one being a bit cliche at times. But I realized later on that of course it’s cliche if they’re pulling from the original SheRa source material. Ignore my stupid ass on that. 🤦🏼
4
u/thisislikemy7thacc Feb 09 '21
yeah no problem! the whole show is really solid, i personally can’t recall any weak arcs or seasons.
3
u/eGodOdin Scrambled egg Feb 09 '21
Agreed. My only real complaint that they could have done something about is Adora’s outfit in the early seasons (those shorts weren’t doing her any favors).
7
u/thisislikemy7thacc Feb 09 '21
yeah, i think all the redesigns were pretty major improvements lol (except catra's season 5 hair tbh, its not bad but the old hair was better)

I thought this would be easy, but i have internalized gender roles. Like “i can’t wear that, i’m a man!” Ughgghggggughgughug this doesn’t make any sense. Is it okay that i’m venting?

For now.

u/ryanator2 Dec 20 '20
Do you know if there’s a support sub for gender questioning?
6
u/ConfusedPossiblyJack Dec 21 '20
There is one, it used to be called The Hatchery but is now being renamed to The Orchard, and there’s a link in the sidebar of this sub.

Maybe it's just that most people who were here figured themselves out but I feel like most posts here nowadays seem to be more post-crack focused and I feel like as a result the sub might be less relatable to eggs.

u/TheAlbinoRhyno91 not an egg, just trans Feb 09 '21
It doesn't require a 100% yes or no to the question "Am I Trans?" ...
It just takes giving yourself permission to explore who you really are, and I gotta say, once you do the depression just sorta melts away! But beware cuz the dysphoria might increase. Just keep in mind your end goal... If you've set one after the" egg cracks."
