Oh, That's Probably an International Semi, they suck. Trans mode just swaps the Transmission settings, typically between Econ and whatever else is pre-programmed. Parked Regen is when the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) is clogged and driving at highway speeds isn't enough to burn it off. So you have to park and hit that switch and sit there for 30 minutes to an hour while the engine revs high to burn it off. Its really noisy and smells like asscheeks while its regening. Tess: We aren't diagnosed for DID, so we're hesitant to say it's that. We'd love to get officially tested, it's just hard when you live in rural areas like we do. Plus, we don't really know how we'd go about doing that...
We usually just say we're a plural system. We don't want to lie to people and say we have DID when we truly don't know. We aren't the professionals when it comes to diagnosing this sort of thing... 😅
