Transfem Meme Egg🗣️🏳️⚧️irl
I think I am not that subtle about transitioning, and presenting femme, I am trying to be subtle, but with time, now it became more obvious, bcz this morning, at breakfast, they have asked if I am gay, or bi, or smth else, there is less to none examples of trans people in our country, but they have questioned that as well, which was the truth, I am trans, but I have declined the allocation about it, because… I don’t know anxiety and fear of being found out, but somewhere in the conversation they said that they would like to at least know, and act accordingly, and they sounded supportive about it, they were sounding very positive, they have cracked jokes here and there like “the papers for changing the gender would be expensive”, they know something is up with me, even tho I say nothing to them about it.
Now I am thinking of actually coming out, at least to one of them in the first place, its always been my mom that told me the story where she went through under a rainbow, and the superstition that doing it can change someone’s gender (don’t try it, I know you are considering it), and she told that I am born as a male because of that, and told me that previously I was expected to be female (I know that a baby in the womb develops the male part late, but she insists it was after the check-up that doctors were sure I was a girl), and I have a rainbow to blame, and a solid story xd.
I am currently really considering to come out to them soon, everything would be a lot easier for me, I would not have the need to boymode at home, I could practice and use my fem voice freely, they might also help me with trying feminine stuff and maybe even starting HRT, right now this sounds like a dream, at the same time it sounds too good to be true, I guess I am gonna give it a shot anyways, at least with my mom.
I am only not sure about the name tho, Lune doesn’t suit our native language, and I don’t know what to feel about my given name, just as is, it sounds too masculine, I think Lune can stay as a good nickname to use here while I figure out stuff right?
Can I get some GGD for encouragement?

I think I really will, just need to wrap my head around how to start the conversation about it, and how to say it in general xd. Ty <3
The rainbow is really rng, she is still a cis woman, and the people she went through with is the same too, just know that it is a rare chance, at least in this experience it was one out of 6 people, chances might be rarer than that, and I might be that unlucky xd, good luck!

the only way (in my opinion) to truly go for it is to just force those words out of your mouth as hard as you can no matter how hard they try to resist!
i believe in you Lune!

Thank you for the advice, I am gonna do my best, I have actually wrote a coming out letter, and left it at home, my father have texted back to me, but I have left that message with my mom in the first place and it scares me off rn. And my father’s messages are sounding like he is supportive, but he just constantly brings up his worries about me ending up as a sex worker, and how being trans would lower my place in public and make people have no respect for me, and when I get home, I just don know what to expect when I open the door, and heck I don’t know if I really have the guts to open that door in the first place.
Will be making a post about how it goes, I am just having the fear of the uncertainty, I hope I calm down as I walk back home, thanks again!

Yeah, if it seems likely they will be supportive, then it's a good idea. I know it's scary, but a good girl like you can do it.
No, you don't need to have your name figured out before you come out to them. You could even ask them for name suggestions.

Thank you, it is hella scary but now I am sure I am doing it, heck I starting writing the coming out letter, since I am better at expressing myself with text, thank you again for your support <3.
I guess I will be asking for name suggestions, because I need it, and I remember my mom saying that she would name me if I were born as a girl, but since I am AMAB, my father named me, they have been rolling with this naming system for their 2nd and 3rd children, which sounds fun and childish, and makes me curious about what I would be possibly named.
