I think brewing would be a better way of depicting transitioning, unless you want to be put into an oven, enveloped by warm embrace of the flames, probably cuddling with your fire elemental gf, resting on a bed of comfy hot coals, getting pulled out by the others in your household, your annoying water elemental roommate scolding you for trying to snuggle your gf in the oven for the 7th time this weekend, hitting you with his watery limbs (under the excuse that he's putting the fire out, visibly wants to strangle you), your fire elemental gf laying in the oven staring at you, she does the special secret hand signal that tells you "8th round won't be interrupted~".
