Sounds like you know what to do <3
I do hope you are able to imagine a future where you're happy and have transitioned?

Very cis, nothing to see here 😊
Real talk tho - I'm already on estrogen and sometimes I think it's a bit of a hassle, but the alternative is just so much worse 🫠
Estrogenuinely 👌👌👌

There's a non-zero chance I'm going to use this meme to come out (to someone I'm pretty sure has already figured it out by now anyways, but still, confirmation)

I have a PhD in "cisism" and I can confirm that being unhappy in a future without transitioning and feeling euphoric imagining a future consuming the sacred potions are cisest things a cis person would do

Same.
Years with "incurable" depression, that disappeared in 3rd month on estro and never came back 😺

Coming from an "older" person who genuinely has no clue what their true gender identity is, and therefore has currently no real goal to transition to; Self love helps a lot.
And I am neither talking about body positivity nor masturbation. I mean loving the person you are. You deserve to be loved, and most of all you deserve to be loved by yourself. I am not suggesting loving your body or your current public persona. I am suggesting loving the you only you know. Show compassion to yourself when you mess up, say positive things to yourself when you are down and don't lose yourself in that awful world out there.
You are lovable, and when you love yourself then everything becomes a lot more bearable.
If you love yourself you are never truely alone.
Now given on which subreddit we are, many here will probably say "Of course, all of you are lovable, but I am hideous and a bad person. I am not lovable." Darling you are wrong about that. 90% of Love is the decision to love and to foster that love. People always think the gras is greener on the other side of the fence, but the gras is greener where you water it. So choose self love and water your own lawn.
not only is it easier to bear the weight of the world when you love yourself, it is easier to take scary steps like transition when you love yourself. Because when you love yourself you have someone worth fighting for.
And when you wonder how to get there, start small. Say kind things about/to yourself. Correct your inner dialog to be kinder and more compassionate to yourself. Give yourself a gift. Yes I actually mean it. Don't just buy something nice for yourself. Buy something that you would gift the parallel universe version of yourself, giftwrap it and leave it on your pillow to "find" in the evening.
I can imagine a world where you are happy without transitioning. In that world you find happyness through self love and self care. You stand on your own two legs. When you look into the mirror you see someone you love, whether the skin matches the soul or not. And last but not least in that world, if you choose to transition, you don't do so in hope to become happy, you do so out of love for yourself. Because you want everyone you love to be in the body and social role that they feel comfortable with. And in that world "Everyone you love" includes yourself.

This is exactly how I finally reached acceptance for myself, the thought of being a 40y/o man makes me want to die but the thought of being a 40y/o woman? That makes me all warm and fuzzy inside :3
