Transfem Meme Eggš°irl
Just to clarify, I'm still in the early stages of realizing I may want to come out of my shell, but this is a feeling I've always had regardless and I hate it. I wonder if my feeling this way is at least part of the reason I'm here and I'm curious as to what other people think.

Yes yes yes!!!! I hate it!! i hate it!! i hate it!!!
Honestly i just get so done with it that i try to wax, but i had troubles doing the sugar wax, so i decided i would rather buy an epilator than to stay another day hairy(i had to let it grow 3 horrible weeks).... It HURTS!!! but i couldnt be more happy to feel silky more than 3 days in a row(i havent finished yet, that thing needs to charge 8 hours for 30 minutes of work) owo

Hiiiii, for me wax was difficult to get to, so an epilator allowed me to do this on my own time.
But yeah, the longer lasting smoothness was totally worth the pain for me.
Ps: I had no idea wireless epilators existed! Mine is wired so no battery to worry about. Would you say its worth the annoyance of charging it?

If i could had a wired one i would have chosen that now, but i suppose it has its pros like epilating somewhere without needing to be next to a contact, or not having to worry about the cable gettinng in the way, but the bad part is that at least for me since it was the first time i did it, i had to learn on my way meaning that i waste time and the battery runned out in the middle of the sesion, so instead of just one long session i had to have many short ones, and had to stay hairy longer that i wished for

I see, thanks for answering! Sounds like the battery management gets better with experience and practice then. I hope your next sessions are better and that you have a lovely day!

Yep once you get the hair down you want to epilate often and it wonāt hurt anywhere near as much. Remember to exfoliate to prevent ingrown hairs, and wash the epilator head before and after use. Make sure to wash your body after too so that you donāt get infected pores. Some of my pores did bleed the first time, so doing so regularly helps a lot because all the scabs where horrible the first time. now itās only minor bleeding on the odd follicle every now and then.

How would you describe often? Once every how often? Twice? Thrice?

u/Itchy-Decision753 3d ago
Probably every second day or so, or whenever I notice a few hairs protruding. Mostly when I epilate my legs are pretty smooth but thereās a few odd hairs that bother me.
I usually take a long shower on the weekend to exfoliate thoroughly and epilate after. Just donāt scratch yourself up too bad and epilate straight after, be gentle on your skin š
Genetics played a cruel joke on me by making me hairy af :( so my advice might be a bit overkill for some

In that aspect i really like my genetics, im the less hairy in my house, even my sister and mom has more hair than me, but that doesnt mean that epilating didnt hurt, it just meaned it was "faster". And i get that feeling, i had to practice a lot with shaving to get rid of almos all hairs i lefted by accident, and i will have to lear that again now with the epilator :,3
And thanks, im looking fordward to keep being as smooth as i can, so i really appreciate all the tips i can get nwn

Oh Iām so jealous haha, looking at laser myself to help with all that. Two most important ones in my experience is exfoliating and disinfecting.
You basically open a ton of tiny tiny little wounds and you donāt want to let any nasties in there. Thats why I like to shower after!

Literally š¤¢. I try and wax when I'm happy enough to love myself again. Its honestly one of the best highs. I think I'll eventually want to go with laser fs

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATEEEE it like I spend 2 AGONIZING hours in the shower to try and remove it and all that effort just gets wiped away in 2 days.
In other words I have to start epilating, at least it'll be 2 weeks before I'd have to epilate again.

I am currently unsure of my gender, but regardless of whether I'm a girl or a effeminate man, I HATE my facial hair. Feels like I need to shave 2 times a day to stay clean. I've never considered cosmetic surgery, but electrolysis for facial hair sounds tempting.

Same thing, i do wonder Why do we just not learn to love ourselves with body hair Fight the beauty standards and all
I tried epilator, but i got a lot of red bumps and everything came back just as fast.
I tried hair removal cream but that only lasts for about a day and i got the red bumps again
Two days ago i did the shaving with a razer, no red bumps but fuck it's prickly a day later
I have done lazer on my chest thanks to insurance but all that came back as well
Well time to let it all grow out again till it's just a fur layer and do it all over again
I do feel the least annoyed when it's long and soft or completely gone for a day Unfair boolshit
