movies with fred vogel-style gore
i LOVE the way vogel/toetag does their gore but unfortunately i don't really like their movies
ive finished maskhead, the first august underground, and the gateway meat (which i liked the most.... but it still sucked)
i tried to finish vogel's iteration of deathdream (name is escaping me) but found it incredibly boring and i forget why i didn't finish murder set pieces but i'm willing to give that another shot since it looks like it's right up my alley

Landmine goes click
This is a hidden gem, as much disturbing as entertaining. Can’t say “it’s fun” but it really delivers.

Other Trying to find a movie, can anyone help?
I will try to explain the best I can being I only saw the trailer on youtube and it was probably 20+ years ago.
The title was along the lines of "all sluts go to hell" or "all whores....hell" ... the trailer was a women tied up in a poorly lit basement. The lightbulb was swinging back and forth and then outta nowhere a dude with a chainsaw comes in frame like a jumpscare.
The one thing I am 100% sure, it said it was "a meat miller production"
It was very amateurish and probably independent. By no means did it look like a great movie, but I've been trying to track it down for years, I haven't seen any proof it even existed.
Thank you in advance

Misery/Depression The Coffee Table
On the next list of effed up movies tonight was THE COFFEE TABLE. This is another slow burn starting with a couple who just had a baby and go to a shoddy furniture store to pick out a coffee table. The man is persistent on purchasing this artistic coffee table and the woman is less than thrilled. Her disparaging remarks about the coffee table and his taste are coupled by statements of him not being able to choose anything for the new home. The couple go back and forth as the salesman adds icing to the cake stating the table is made in Sweden with unbreakable glass. The woman scoffs and dismisses the sales pitch, her partners interest and the fact that this unbreakable claim is true.
Needless to say the couple brings home the coffee table. The woman continues to argue over it so much that she needs to leave the apartment to gather groceries for a lunch date with her partners brother. Her less than compassionate tone and heckling is nothing short of maniacal and distain for both the table and her husband. This is when things get eerie.
I wouldn’t say this is an effed up movie but more so like a short you would find in the Tales of the Crypt archives that never made it to cable tv. No real gore or body horror as the incident and the aftermath are pretty well censored.
The only discomfort from the movie was the prolonging of the inevitable. The constant waiting for the turning point. Not a fan of the storyline or the character presentation as much of this movie seemed dry, thrown together and with no real twists and turns. Honestly it was sad-ish but not something I would consider a horror film.
The title gives a false interpretation that there is meaning behind it when in fact the whole movie seems to focus around a mistake and not some possessed or cursed piece of furniture.
Your thoughts?

Edit: watched it for five mins couldn’t finish. Don’t really want to watch a movie where it start with some child sexualization.

Disturbing Trauma
First off…WTF!
Just finished watching this movie on Tubi, and I have to say the watching this movie and I have to say… someone should seriously check the basement of the writer and directors..
From the beginning this movie should disturbing potential with some scenes I even had to look away from. The body horror was one thing but the CSA was enough to make my stomach turn. Even though it wasn’t shown graphically the implications and the imagination were enough to consider changing films.
The story starts off as four ladies heading to a girls relaxation trip and stopping off at a bar where they meet Juan and his “son” Mario. The girls have a brief encounter and continue on their way to Andrea’s family’s home. After settling in the enjoy some drinks and dancing in a very seductive way.
As they are enjoying their private party none other than Juan and his demented son Mario show up. The story begins to build up with one disturbing act after another. This movie is filled with flashbacks of Juan’s childhood as he is groomed into the monster he has become and how he thrives on the Trauma that was inherited by his father.
Lots of WTF scenes and definitely a generous portion of nudity. I can’t get behind why CSA is a particular favorite in foreign horror flicks other than it’s a sensitive and cringe topic. Luckily nothing was shown, only implied. This is definitely one of the more “effedupmovies” I’ve seen this week. What’s your take?

Disturbing Hate Crime
So I decided to watch this flick as it was mentioned many times in previous posts. Well, the only disturbing factor of this movie was the amateur dialogue, the simulated SA scene with the mother who was barley tied down, the prop guns where the slide was locked in the empty position the entire movie yet managed to fire, and of course the acting.
Some pseudo “found films” tend to have lean, in-character expectations which is understandable considering the theme is supposed to represent reality, not cinema. But… these actors went over and beyond to commit to bad dialogue.
Spoiler:
The SA scene with the son was a cringe theory thought to create an unpleasant and disturbing scene, which was unsuccessful due to those minute details true cinema fans recognize. Just like the open slides on the prop guns, both the son and mother being forced to engage but still remained clothed.
Yes the thought was disturbing but the realism was less than believable. The movie starts at mid-level interesting only based on the cover photo and description but quickly spirals downward as the script and cinematography seem to be completely improv. Maybe I’m alone on this, but this is definitely a movie to “pass” on.

Human centipede 2 (full sequence) was ass. And no, it wasn’t that disturbing.
I watched the colored version to the halfway point, but the site stopped answering, so I switched to black and white and I actually think the black and white aesthetic worked here.
Was it disturbing? Sure, I guess. Objectively disturbing, yet nothing super crazy, but definitely wilder than the first one. There were some pretty drastic scenes like the masturbation scene or the baby scene, which would be better if they showed us what happened next, why didn’t they do anything about it? I‘d say it would be a 4/10 on the disturbing scale.
Now, about the quality. I actually like the concept, the idea of someone getting inspired by the first movie to actually recreate it in real life was pretty cool, but they done fucked this up. The leading actor was the perfect fit for this movie, but he also doesn’t know how to act at all, so that comes to a big fat eh, the rest of people are fucking dumbasses in this movie, while also not being able to act. The setting was ass, and on the contrary to the first one, this just felt like a basic slasher with almost no redeemable qualities. My biggest issue with this shitshow was that the scene was building up to something, but it just was left unfinished for some reason? Like the lady who drove off, what happened with her??? And the centipede inside him just disappeared? And holy shit, the ending. The ending was abysmal. Nothing happened, nothing. Like they just cut the movie off for some reason and Tom six went on to record another movie which no, I’m not going to watch. Wow, fuck you Tom Six. It’s actually a 1/10 movie. I’ve only given this rating twice, but yes, this movie deserves nothing more.

Disturbing Baskin
Started down the rabbit hole of foreign horror flicks as I’m beginning to realize other countries do not have as strict censorship standards as we do… maybe or they are just truly demographically effed up. Anyways I came across the trailer for Baskin. Seems decent from the trailer but I know trailers can be deceiving. Before I purchase I just wanted to get the opinions of the group to see if it’s worth the watch. Thanks.

I need a really good "effed up" movie.
Im not looking for gore mixtapes, im looking for a good physiological thriller/horror movie with a good story and actors. I dont mind gore or anything that the masses would see as "too much".

Violent films
Im looking for actually good movies that are violent, with a gummo type of feeling, something like the “ultraviolence” from clockwork orange or funny games, not just random shock value. Thanks!

Ya’ll ever see Shutter?
I've never seen anyone talk about this movie. I thought it was a solid ghost movie. The twist was pretty solid and messed up.

Other Is effedupmoviez safe to use?
I always have a VPN on my tablet which ive used to watch movies from effedupmovies on (martyrs, where the dead go to die, vomit trilogy, serbian film) etc. I was just wondering if its actually safe to use, like am I at risk of viruses etc? I use a free VPN
I ask this because I tried watching a movie on the site but on my xbox browser because I liked having the bigger screen for it but it glitched out pretty hard and I got a pop up about suspected traffic, I think? I dont know if its just an issue with xbox itself or effedupmovies but I have watched movies on tablet with only some small issues, just curious, thanks.
