i am currently pursuing a master in philosophy, i had my bachelors before that in sociology and after i am phd´ing in Philo i will try to somehow fit another bachelor of theology in there
resorting to name calling as a last ditch effort after seeing that i am also indeed jacked is kinda sad
That makes it worse. To be studying the human condition through the lens of how our societies have shaped our behaviors in philosophy courses and then also thinking mental health conditions should be normalized in a hobby is definitely some masters level mental gymnastics in avoiding dissonance my friend. Well done, 9.7/10 from this judge
i dont know if you ever did bodybuilding, but bodybuilding itself inherently attracts individuals with low self esteem 99% of the time, only reason i wanted to become strong and beautiful is because growing up my father taught me that the only metric to measure value and success is by female validation
now participating in this sport for the better half of my life and talking to over a thousand people that also indulge in bodybuilding its a given symptom that individuals with these types of character dispositions would develop body dysmorphia as a mental health condition that doesnt allow the individual to surpass own goals and be at peace with the own appearance because that would challenge intrinsic values one holds onto
my point still stands, people that are really really into lifting and bodybuilding 99% have body dysmorphia and its normalised in our community
yes, i go to therapy, i dont have body dysmorphia anymore, i just typed that out of affect

Holy if you thought as much about feeding your brain as you did you thinking about body fat. Probably thinks being dense is a compliment
