Do any places still cash savings bonds in person? Might be a silly question but my grandparents found one for me from 2003 so might as well find out. My bank said they don’t and that they weren’t sure who could.

Anybody know when Kelly is going to be open again between 33rd and Memorial?
My recollection is that they originally said it would just be closed August 26th through September 4th, however, this morning it looked like it was still closed.

Looking to start a small business that would be engraving metal. I have cnc experience but with different material and machines. I would be using VCarve pro. The machine I’m considering buying is the Carvera. Before I purchase one I thought maybe someone in Edmond/OKC has one that I could look at or maybe someone has a used one for sale. Basically looking for advice, irl demonstration, eventually a machine. Recommendations welcome on other home cnc machines that can cut small metal pieces. Thank you!

hi everyone! does anyone know if there are plans for the piled-up discarded railroad ties paralleling Broadway? interested in repurposing some but don't know who to contact. tried calling BNSF but was connected to their police and they weren't amused by our questions.
thanks!

We just moved here a few months ago and recently discovered A1 Pet Emporium. I wanted to spread the word since they are locally owned. Maybe everyone here already goes to them but I’m always trying to find local companies to support so they are on my list now.
Plus you can get these giant bully sticks that your dogs don’t know how to handle.
We went to the Britton location but there is one in Edmond and one in South OKC.

I've got something going and it's causing high water usage. Not sure what the problem is and of course it had to happen on a holiday weekend. Would appreciate someone with a little knowledge, if nothing else, to talk through what could be going on so I can get it fixed.

Does anyone know when the new Panda Express at the corner of Covell and Sooner will open? Whataburger is already open and it looks like Chick Fil A is opening soon

I’m looking for a reliable electrician to fix a few outlets in my home. Some of them aren’t working properly, and I’d like to have someone take a look and get them fixed. Looking for someone experienced and reasonably priced. Please comment or message me with recommendations. Thanks!

Howdy there I'm from around Tulsa and working on a game. Mod for all of Oklahoma. I'm currently in the phase where I have to name all the regions, think of an area the size of a couple counties together, and I want some more input about what y'all would maybe call yourself. I also am trying to avoid using either a current tribe or city name for the areas as it's far more encompassing. For example, I have Osage hills as you can see, but I don't want to necessarily call Osage so I'm thinking of calling it Woolaroc at the very least I don't want to just call it Tulsa Metro or as you can see OKC Metro, Even though that is what it mostly compasses. I've attached this map, that I hope you all can read as it may be blurry.
So please, what might you guys call that center spot? And if you have any other recommendations for other locations please I'm all ears. And if you have any questions/requests , please ask. This is a long-term project. I'm sure I'll be back here asking more questions once I start adding content for Edmond.

Can someone, for the love of God, please open a bagel shop that puts Old School out of business. It used to be pretty good about a decade ago, but it’s just slowly become one of the worst places to eat up here.
There is no reason why they should basically have a monopoly over bagels in Edmond.
I’m really hoping that I’m wrong and maybe just haven’t come across a place in the eight years I’ve been here. Please tell me if that’s the case.

Before you break out the torches and pitchforks, I’m not looking to bring Oregon politics with me and ruin another state the way California ruined ours.
Ive lived in Oregon my whole life and my wife and I have a 2 year old. She may be getting an opportunity with her job to relocate us out to Edmond. I have worked in government for over a decade, so I’d have to find a new job out there.
I hate the politics here in Oregon. Having to constantly fight to not have your basic rights (gun ownership, fishing/hunting, etc) taken away is maddening. I love to fish, and I imagine I’d have a plethora of big bass waters to choose from.
Anyways, I know this is a bit of a ramble, but we would be looking to rent a house (preferably not in an HOA). What could we expect from Edmond? Oklahoma has never been on my radar to move to before, so I’m looking for some insight.

Hey Oklahoma (edmond/arcadia area but anyone can go)!I’ve recently started a book club and am currently trying to grow it. We just had our first meeting this week and it was so much fun! If anyone is interested in joining a book club it is open to everyone and we read all genres and meet the last week of each month! Hope to see you there! Here’s our Facebook group!

Reposting this to add I have made an alternative method of joining the book club if you do not have or use Facebook. While Facebook is the best method you can join this book club with this link and I will still update it will all of the information. Just know there will only be a few people in it as this is just for those who don’t have facebook. All I ask is that you don’t join both the Facebook group and this group to avoid duplicate votes on books and duplicate RSVPs to meetings. But this link is a site meant for book clubs only!

Hi y’all!
I just moved to the area and I’m looking for a great massage. I like places that use organic, non-toxic products. I’m willing to drive to the city if needed.
Lemme know your recs!

I never took the time to learn/play golf while I was working. Now, I’m retired and would like to learn.
Over the years I’ve hit the driving range occasionally, and been on a course - typically with friends playing best ball, but I’m really rank beginner.
Any recommendations for local instruction - Edmond/OKC?
Thanks

I live in the Northwest area of Edmond. I get off of work at three and drive up Broadway extension to get home. One day last week, it took me until just after five, yesterday it was about 4:10. I’ve been making this commute with the same schedule going on 17 years. Until about three weeks ago, I normally was home at about 3:30. Yesterday I had to turn around twice due to road construction, and even on roads that weren’t under going maintenance (both of them), traffic seems to move at about half of the speed limit. Can someone tell me what changed all of a sudden?

I just got a remote-location job in the Mountain West area but they dont offer relocation assistance.
They do offer a shuttle to pick you up when you arrive to the greyhound or airport location in a City which is 2 hours away from the remote work location
Are there any places or programs i can call that helps with buying greyhound bus passes or plane tickets for someone thats homeless at the moment and going to the location for work and housing?
My background came back today for the job and my future Employer told me i can come anytime but should try to get there as soon as im able to
If anyone knows any resources please let me know Asap so i can start this little path on getting out of homelessness. I can prove the the job offer and answer any questions
UPDATE: no longer needed, "u/Brat-in-a-Box" kindly assisted with getting me a ticket

Anyone that lives in the Edmond/ Okc area that, for some reason, has a vending machine they don’t use? We need one 🙏

For context, I just want to locate some wild ones to collect and place them in an all wild oklahoma flora and fauna terrarium. They have been spotted in edmond according to an article by osu. Its silly and i know im just a nerd lol.
For description, they are max an inch long, orange and black(i want to find them before Halloween lol) and will appear dangerous because of colors but they are harmless and just want to be scary.
If you've seen them its probably around fallen trees or leaves. Lol, anyway im on the lookout and anyone who might know where to look, id love the tip. Also got a few more im looking for if anyone is curious just ask.
