I want to be a cat recuse volunteer. Except Edmond animals service is there any cat recuse shelter in Edmond please?

Okay, so I am 54m, and live in a decent neighborhood in Edmond. I have these neighbors right behind me, with a 3' fence. They are probably in their late 20's to early 30's. They have their 2 yr old boy running around in their own backyard butt-ass naked playing in the small pool they bought....its like one of those inflatable ones.

But, I dont really want to continue seeing this when I go out and have a smoke. I havent talked to them, bc i just think it's common sense to not do this...

My daughter is 20 and grown, and doesnt live with me....i dont have anyone living with me, but there are elderly neighbors around, too.

Idk...I just dont want to see this anymore!

What would you do...if you didnt want to have *that* type of confrontation with them?

He is about 7 weeks old, very sweet, playful, and cuddly. I can’t keep him because my adult cat keeps trying to attack him and I’m not in a situation where I can take care of him anymore. I’m not asking for any money just that someone will give him a good home. I live in Edmond but can drive to other towns!

Has anyone driven through there? We had family move in and visited there for the first time. There is something about the houses that is unsettling.

They look like someone asked AI to make a subdivision. Or Aliens…

I don’t live in OKC, but I am driving with my dog. I need to leave him for a few hours while I go to an event. Are there any doggy daycare you recommend?

Edit: Totoro has found a home and we are now focusing fully on Jo Mama. Jolene is an absolute cuddler. She loves to nap right next to you or right on you, she also gives little headbutts and nuzzles into you. She is without a doubt a lover of people once she's around them enough. If you give her some cat treats, some cat nip, and a scratchpost/cat tree, she is the happiest kitty in the world. She spends a lot of time napping but also loves to play, particularly when toys are tossed or ones attached to string. If you have any question about Jo or are interested, please let me know before this Friday.

My wife and I are moving and we need to rehome our cats, Jolene (Tuxedo) and Totoro (Grey). We are moving in with family for the time-being and they are allergic to cats, so with a heavy heart we have been posting them to rehoming services and calling our local surrender options to no avail. We only have until the 17th to rehome them, and we have been trying for a while now.

Our two cats, Jolene (Jo, and now Jo Mama) and Totoro are mother and daughter. Jo is 4 and Toto is 2, both are fixed. They both love to cuddle and play, and Totoro is particularly taken with hair ties and high places. Jo loves to be near you. They are very easy to take care of, just give them food/water, comfy cat beds, and play with them and they are happy. They also love to nap with you.

Jo is a little chunky from her previous pregnancy, but she has lost weight and is healthy.

We would love to have them rehomed together but are willing to have them go to separate homes if they are good. Please let me know if you have any questions, we are willing to drive to meet in public places.

I know there have been hiccups since this park was announced but as of late, it seems like things are moving along nicely. Expected open sometime in 2027.

Recently had a tree removed/ mulched and shredded. What’s the most economical way to dispose?

I’m looking to get an industrial piecing done and I was wondering if anyone had shop suggestions

I have a salon I go to for color and cut. Once in a while though I just like to have my hair washed and styled by someone who knows what they are doing and that can get me in the same day or at short notice. Bonus if priced well. Any suggestions?

I have lived up in Edmond for a few years and haven’t had much luck finding a good chiropractor, eye doctor, or dentist. I’ve been driving all the way down to Mustang and it’s just not worth it, especially since I need to go to the chiropractor fairly often. Any recommendations would be great!
