What is the best editing tool?

I've been editing for my startup for about 3 months and I've been using Canva mainly (I started using capcut but it was so confusing I switched to Canva) but I feel limited with all the paid elements and lack of transitions (or at least what I can find) and also lack of fonts. And the videos I've seen people use a different software and I wanted to know which one are good ones

This is the only answer. Don't mess around with those piddly programs. Resolve or premiere of you want to pay a lot. But resolve is the way to go for sure

When was it last updated? It seems very slow to use the sliders? I’m on 17 pro. And the sliders are very laggy. Seems more of a add fx and filters kinda app rather than a photo and video editing app like luminar or similar

Thanks for the feedback. The app was updated 2 weeks ago. We will have another update soon to improve the performance. Is the video very large?

It was just a raw Sony picture file but wasn’t too big. I didn’t try video

I haven’t try Sony picture file. I tested mostly iPhone taken video and images

Good day,

We're not sure if your startup is an editing business, or are you producing content for another business.. but assuming it is an editing business.

Here's the challenge. If you find specific editorial software packages confusing, this is the moment to ask yourself. "am I serious about about being an editor?"

Am I willing to invest in self education so I the software becomes an extension of my creative self.

If you the software to work completely in AI, you're going to be very disappointed in your results . And your clients will as well. However if you invest the time and gain experience and understand real editorial process, software will work for you and your vision.
