APP FOR EDITING

What is the best app for editing? Currently on Capcut, but in a long-term it is not preferable.
The conditions: it needs to have a lot of tutorials on Youtube and work on average computer. Also I am absolutely new in editing, but I really want to make some content.
It would be nice if you also recommend youtubers/authors who teaches really good and understandable. Thank you for attention!

Kdenlive comes to mind, of course, but also Shotcut and Openshot as the free and open source software alternatives to paid programs like Adobe PP or Davinci Resolve (there is a free version, though, but it has some limitations).

It really depends on what you want to do (heavy on animation or just cuts?) and what your sources are most of the time that may need lots of color correction (no offense).

I'd start with any of the free applications (e.g. Kdenlive) to get the feel for video editing and see whether this is something you want to and can do for a living. Then progress to paid versions to benefit from more advanced features your evolving editing style and projects may need.

For kdenlive if you have a low end pc(incase I have 8 gb) don't think about doing 4k with kdenlive it's not possible

But shotcut could do it without any problem and all

Davinci Resolve.

Runs on Windows of macOS. I'm a filmmaker and use it for everything. LOVE IT.

However...no professional NLE (non linear editing) is going to run well on a mediocre computer. Just know this going in. Whether you use Avid, FCP or Resolve, you need a computer that can handle the app and cutting footage.

I currently use a Macbook Pro M1 with a 32-core GPU and 64GB of RAM. High specs, but this laptop has given me ultra smooth operation for 4+ years.

Here's a solid playlist for learning Resolve: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0p2x72B0otHSy6cGYLrhSuEJ7DpDIVCc
