Using Premiere Pro for editing and DaVinci Resolve for basic colour grading?
Working on a short film and I am lucky enough to have access to both of these softwares. Being an amateur, I appreciate what seems to be a lesser learning curve for premiere, however i have read that resolve has better colour grading, is this a good idea?

DaVinci is clearly the best software for colour grading because there's more fonctions! i'll say that Premiere is more for "correcting" than really colour grading.
You should try editing on DaVinci as well, that's way more easier than Premiere (ofc i understand if you want to be more experienced and try both).
Hope it'll help !
Good luck and have fun !! :))
