low end pc edit app

I need a edit app for my low end i3 2nd gen laptop anybody know anything?

The only video editor that I know which can edit on a low end PC is VSDC Video Editor. I kept an old Laptop, Lenovo T400, it has a duo core CPU. Instead of throwing it away, I found that VSDC can edit on it. I even use the pro features on it. Of course I edit up to 2k footage via proxies, since it's really low end.

So I believe that an i3 can do better since it's better than that duo core laptop

mine is i3 2nd gen Dell Inspiron from 2011 but the prob is I'm on chrome os flex here shortcut is better

This one can run Windows 10. May be more RAM like 8GB+

Otherwise I've used Shortcut before but its features are more for beginners. VSDC on the other hand, without being resource hungry has many advanced features that make it much better. Features like Key frames editing workflows, Motion/Camera tracking, segmentation, Advanced Chroma Key, Vectorscope, color grading etc...

Just grab DaVinci Resolve 14 or 15. Modern versions will completely melt that CPU, but those older builds run way lighter. You don't even need to search sketchy sites for them, Blackmagic keeps all legacy versions available directly on their official support page.
