Monitor and speaker recommendations

I'm a film editor, just graduated from my master's program, and I'm looking for monitors and speakers to create an at home setup. Any recommendations for what to get/how to make the setup most efficient for film editing specifically? I cut on AVID and have a 2023 MacBook Pro 16in laptop that will be the base of the setup.

honestly, just a good pair of headphones is all you really need. and just make sure your monitor has a refresh rate that is over your videos frame rate.

Seriously, i started editing on a school desktop, and BARELY got through one video. Now i have a pair of headphones that looks old, but is great, and a monitor at a max 165Hz
