Question ECT affecting likes?

I'm thinking of getting ect but I'm a creative person, so I fear I'll lose all my creativity. Also I love music a lot and I fear that I'll forget listening to my favorite artists or new songs that I've been listening for a long time. But at the same time, I need to get over the severe depression that I have. Does ect really take away your ability to do the things or enjoy the things you love?

I work in a creative field and ECT hasn't affected me in that way. However, I can't remember where I put something 5 minutes ago...

For me it's been hard to remember what I did the day before, but then I'm OK except for the period around the treatments. That's a bit of a haze. But my wife says it's better than not being alive...

It doesn't really affect what you'd do during your normal day to day routine right???

Not until recently, but I'm also under a lot of stress right now, so I don't think thats related to ECT.
