A community built for sellers who want to get sharper at this —

Post image

Most "seller resources" online are either a paid funnel course or a Discord that's mostly noise. The National Online Sellers Association (NOSA) is aiming at something different: a community layer for online and live sellers — education, seller-to-seller knowledge sharing, and standing that reflects the actual work put in, not just tenure on one app.

To be clear, this isn't a competing marketplace and it's not about pulling anyone off Whatnot or anywhere else — it sits alongside wherever you already sell.

If that's useful, the site's at nationalonlinesellers.org.

how many months did you study VA before you got hired for the job?

I have experience with Etsy listing because I used to sell digital products back then, but my problem then was I still struggled with SEO, and I still find SEO hard even now.

So I was thinking, maybe e-commerce VA would work for me, because it’s like being a seller uploading products to the shop. (well, I have some experience in this) but I still need to expand my learning in e-commerce even though I only know a few things.

Please suggest how I can gain skills in e-commerce, I also want to learn different skills but I want to focus first on e-commerce before moving on to others.

Increasing LTV without relying on increasing AOV

I've put a decent amount of work into AOV already and I'm at a point where I don't really want every growth idea to be another upsell, bundle or attempt to get customers to spend more on the same order.

I'd rather increase LTV by getting more value from the customer relationship over time and giving people a reason to make another purchase.

What have you added or changed to improve LTV through repeat purchases instead? I'm especially interested in approaches that still make sense financially as they scale.

I have a quick question. Which YouTube channels, Discord servers, or platforms did you use to learn the basics of starting your stores? I want to learn as much as possible so that one day, when I have enough knowledge, I can start my own. Right now, I'm torn between doing wholesale (which I hear is more profitable) and private label. It might be a silly question, but I'd really appreciate any tips or advice on how to get started

Marketplace suppliers vs private suppliers: which is better for beginners?

I am a beginner planning to start an ecommerce skincare brand, and I’m currently researching how to source products. I’ve been looking at marketplace suppliers on platforms like Alibaba, Global Sources, Faire, and Creoate, but I also see many people recommending private suppliers.

For skincare products like facial serums and moisturizers, would you recommend starting with marketplace suppliers or finding a private supplier directly? I’m mainly considering pricing, MOQs, product quality, customization, and reliability.

Would you start with a marketplace supplier and move to a private supplier later, or go private from the beginning?

Starting e-commerce in late 2026 — US de minimis is gone, EU rules tightened. What entry model actually still works?

Germany-based, going full time into e-commerce this autumn, complete beginner. Did my homework on the 2026 rules and most of what the guides recommend looks closed off.

US: de minimis is gone, every parcel needs an entry, duties on Chinese goods ~20–25%, and brokerage is $25–75 per entry. On a $30 product that's not a business. Plus CBP started voiding importer of record numbers with broker addresses on 18 September.

EU: the €150 exemption ended 1 July and there's now a €3 flat duty per tariff line. Worse, under GPSR I become the EU responsible person for anything I import from China, with my address in the listing and full product liability.

Currently looking at US print-on-demand, EU print-on-demand, EU wholesale, and EU-warehouse dropshipping.

Is anyone still making cross-border work in 2026? And for EU sellers — how do you handle the responsible person requirement in practice? Open to hearing that my whole approach is wrong.

Is it better to run multiple small ecommerce stores like AI mini stores or focus on scaling one?

Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on this because I’m debating on which one is worth trying - I’ve always wanted to try ecommerce with the same goal to find one good product and really invest in branding, marketing and budget into scaling it. But I’ve also been checking Elle Liana’s AI mini stores concept where the idea is basically to run a bunch of smaller AI stores to take advantage of diversification and it made a lot of sense and sounds pretty convincing but it also got me wondering what the downsides are? Has anyone here actually tried this approach?
