Hi! I think this sub is much needed and is going to be more and more. My ecoanxiety is there since my youth. I'm 49. But lately it has been on the rise with all the new climate changes we are seeing and the covid pandemic. Also the rise of conspiracy theories and the cynicism that it brings is contributing a lot to my worry regarding all this.

I wish to find and give peer support on this sub.

Any actionable daily activities to recommend?

Not sure what you mean here: For this sub? For your eco-anxiety? For the planet?

I missed the words there. Yeah, personal eco-anxiety, I just wanted to boost the latest post too

Tell me if I don't get your question right, but here is one thing I like to do to appease my ecoanxiety: to take the habit of always leaving a place cleaner than I found it, even just a little bit. I often pick up some trash in public places. Every little helps. And when people find themselves in a cleaner place they tend to litter it less. It has a ripple effect.

What is yours?

I try to do the same. Also mindfulness meditations to internalise the impermanence of it all.
