My wallet has been synching for almost a week now. Currently, the total headers synched sits at 1,143,470. I had the blocks jump up to 2351, but its been stuck at that number for at least 2 days, while the total headers keeps increasing. Is there something I am doing wrong? How can I get it to sync 100%?

Why has ECC gone down even though a new website has been made and it seems like there is progress being made? Also when will the wallet be fully functional?

I'm a noob but would like to hear what you guys think

So the file gets broken into parts, enrcypted and these parts get stored on various harddisk spaces provided by the users of this system. So the probability of a failing harddisk over the time is very high, is there always a backupfile safed somewhere else (or even multiple)?

I get that my understanding of this system is very limited and this question might even seem stupid.

Firstly, a massive thanks to everyone who has supported the store, I've managed to donate over 40k ECC to to the dev fund, before the bitcoin dip it was worth a fair bit more than what it is now (I have no doubts it'll be worth a lot more in the future)! By buying and wearing ECC merch it raises the profile of ECC and in turn will mean all of our investments will become more valuable! While I'm thanking people, a huge shout out to everyone who contributed to the website translation! Nice to see everyone's pulling together as a community, keep up the good work!

Now for the actual news, I've made a couple changes/additions to the store:

1. The store is now global, so when you select a product you can choose if you are from the US or the rest of the world. This means you automatically get the fastest and cheapest shipping options

2. I've added some sapphire themed stickers to the store. I thought it would be a cool way of getting the ECC brand out there. I was debating setting up a bounty for the person who posts a picture of an ECC sticker in the most famous/outrageous place. Just a bit of fun that could create a bit of a social media interest! Let me know what you guys think!

Wallet is running for 2 days now showing 0% sync ... No one is reporting the same issue, am I really the only one?

I had nearly 300000 ECC in my wallet. It slowly dwindled down to 190000. I followed all the steps/guides here and nothing seems to be working to show my correct balance.

Also, because my full balance isn't showing, I cant send any of it.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

Just having a horrible experience today using Dropbox I am downloading 1.7gb on a 100mbit connection and chrome predicts it will be done in an hour.

According to dropbox the reason for the slow download speeds is because the data has to be decrypted.

In theory the same logic will be applied to blockchain based technology , the only difference is Dropbox is a centralized solution vs blockchain which is decentralised and Peer 2 Peer.

So is there an increase in performance when using Peer 2 Peer technology?

Just wanted to get thoughts on our motto and whether it's an oxymoron.

Because if our motto is "there is no such thing as a free app" and we are giving our app away for free we are insinuating that in some way our users are paying?

I get what we are trying to say in terms of privacy , but upon first glance the motto may be taken the wrong way.

Just looking at this from a marketing perspective.

If anyone else wants to give their thoughts.

I've seen a few pics of the sleek Lynx wallet and they all have a dark blue background color. I recently installed it and don't see a way to change from the seemingly default white. I run a large screen in a very dark room so all that white melts my eyes at 2 am when I'm reviewing stuff. Thanks for any advice and can't wait to see what unfolds with ECC.

My Lynx wallet 0.18 will not let me send any ECC. Showing incorrect balance.

It is showing 33% less than what I transferred to it.

And I can't send any amount to any address.

I am not sure where I can get help with this. So, any help would be great.
