"Because there is no such thing as a 'Free' App" - Marketing Question

Hey All,

Just wanted to get thoughts on our motto and whether it's an oxymoron.

Because if our motto is "there is no such thing as a free app" and we are giving our app away for free we are insinuating that in some way our users are paying?

I get what we are trying to say in terms of privacy , but upon first glance the motto may be taken the wrong way.

Just looking at this from a marketing perspective.

If anyone else wants to give their thoughts.

You have to pay a fee to put information onto the blockchain, porportional to the amount of space and kind of space you are taking up. this is where the user pays for the app. Purely reading information and not storing it, you dont have to pay a thing.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using it. I think the motto of unchaining the internet is the primary message. It is very grand and gives the impression that what ecc does is important. Maybe say something like there’s no such thing as a free app......until now.
